It’s the hypocrisy of forsaken fans, such as yourself. The Forsaken can nuke towns like southshore, but sylvanas bombs a city where the kaldorei have their seat of power and y’all loose your damn mind over it
It’s kind of hypocritical when you think about it. I mean Garrosh should be putted on the same place as Sylvanas like being the worst monster long before Teldrassil. Heck I thought he was the worst monster before Mists when he started attacking the Alliance left and right during that time.
Because the Kaldorei aren’t bothering anyone. Their main grievance is they’d like people to stop going all Ferngully on their fae forests. And even then they’re frequently pretty reasonable about that.
Meanwhile the humans loudly announce their intentions to march over the Forsaken’s bodies all the way to Lordaeron. So yeah I kinda feel they have it coming.
The dudes just kinda vibing in the 1,000 acre woods - not so much.

No i’m seriously mad at you personally for calling me, a woman “crazy” because I like a fictional character you don’t like. I don’t appreciate you telling me how to feel about this story or this character.
You may have thought Sylvanas as a character you enjoyed was insignificant back in Edge of Night, you have no business acting upset over the character she became because she ‘was dead to you.’ You are not the only Forsaken fan, yet you act like your wants for tye Forsaken narrative are better than anyone elses just because you like the recent heel tuen to make Forsaken “goody” ignoring the long history of warcrimes the Forsaken commit, but in the same breath you glorify the Forsaken.

But I do genuinely think Sylvanas is just completely FUBAR at this point. She’s about as skubtastic as a character can get and her story was bewildering when it wasn’t incoherent. You’re welcome to feel otherwise though. I can’t force people to change their minds.

I get your anger with people constantly downplaying you being hopeful that blizz will right the wrongs they did with sylvanas and make her a character we can all enjoy again.
It’s not even accidental hatred at this point, 90% of this forum turns on sylvanas fans for daring to be hopeful

Trying to fix Sylvanas without an outright retcon feels like trying to do CPR on someone who was run over by a tank.
I’m still genuinely wondering if anyone actually read the Sylvanas book before hitting publish because it outright says she was disconnected from her capacity for kindness and guilt.
But there are chapters of the book describing her PoV where she acts kind to Nathanos and feels guilty over Liam Greymane.
It’s so completely clear they never had this planned out and had zero clue how to course correct.

If a character is supposed to be sympathetic, having them shoot down unarmed civilians in cold blood because they don’t love you enough is… a choice. (Especially if you know they’re all going to super-hell.)
If a character is supposed to be sympathetic and traumatized, immediately spreading that same trauma around is also a choice.
If a character is supposed to be sympathetic and the leader of “our will is sacrosanct” society, having her drag a reluctant commander back to a torture dungeon for re-education is pretty dodgy, too.
My issue with Sylvanas has always been that she acts like she hates what was done to her… but has precisely no qualms about doing it to others. And I know that happens in real life. I’ve cleaned up after it. But I’m not inclined to view her as heroic or sympathetic after her actions. Even if she sometimes feels sad.

That’s certainly news to me.
Makes it a lot weirder he seems to accuse Thrall of being a bad father figure.
“YOU MADE ME WHAT I AM” yelled the 50 something at the 40 something.
Garrosh was born before the Dark Portal, Thrall after.
Which made every time people accused Garrosh of being a young hothead hilarious.

Yeah, Sylvanas is way worse. She thinks she is so right, when she is burning children alive. She didn’t get “duped”. it’s not like the Jailer got her caught up in some pyramid scheme… You don’t go “Whoopsie, set a child on fire”
She is violating the autonomy AND right to life of every living person on Azeroth because she never got over her trauma. It is entirely selfish, entirely self serving, and entirely cowardly.
