Oh I’ve gotten people to that point and my reaction is usually more;

Whenever I think of Alynsa going before the Arbiter, I imagine it going like this.

Pelarbiter: “Welcome back Alynsa. As a member of the Horde, you have much to atone for, so clearly a stay in Revendreth is in order…”

Alynsa: Starts to protest, then thinks about it for a moment and nods with a sigh “Ok, fair, but afterwards?”

Pelarbiter: “Well, let’s see. You were of great service to the Night Fae. You served the Horde for years and Quel’Thalas before that. You served the Agent Crusade, the Cenarion Circle, the… Wait, this can’t be right… You served the Klaxxi? Alynsa, you know they are servants of the void right?”

Alynsa: looks at the ground, shrugging “Well… Amber scorpion mount… And, uhm… Well, we just don’t talk about that very much, alright?”

Pelarbiter: Rolls his eyes and continues going down the list “I see you served well under orcs from Outland, orcs from Draenor and orcs on Azeroth… Lot of serving orcs here…”

Alynsa: “Ok, you’re making it sound creepy now. It wasn’t like that at all. I just did what people told me needed to be done.”

Pelarbiter: “Yes, I see that. You have upheld duty and discipline very well. Even after the Scourge were put back in check, you frequently visited the Argent Tournament grounds to ensure things hadn’t gone awry in your absence.”

Alynsa: “Yup, tokens for mounts!”

Pelarbiter: “Mm. Well it seems clear to me that the land that best fits you… Well, it would be Maldraxxus, but you wouldn’t last a day there. So it’s off to Bastion with you after your Horde-mandated time in Revendreth.”

Alynsa: Shocked and dismayed, pointing to the Ardenweald portal “But… But Moonberry!”

Pelarbiter: “Oh. Oh, Alynsa. You didn’t think you’d end up in Ardenweald did you? There are trees there! No Horde members will be going to Ardenweald!!”

Alynsa: “But I did my penance for that!! And whatever is left, that’s what Revendreth is for!! Talk to Ysera, she’ll tell you!!”

Pelarbiter: “Ysera… Didn’t she only end up in Ardenweald because you killed her?”

Alynsa: “Well… I mean… Ok, yes, but she was corrupted and had to be stopped!!”

Pelarbiter: “Yes, much like Anduin was, right?”

Alynsa: “Yes, exactly like that, so you can clearly see I had no choice but to-”

Pelarbiter: “Did you kill Anduin when he was corrupted?”

Alynsa: “Ok, that was totally different.”

Pelarbiter: “Because he was a cute blonde boy?”

Alynsa: “I mean, it wasn’t entirely not that…”

Pelarbiter: “Mmhm. Well anyway, see you in Bastion after Revendreth is done with you. Good catching up, lots of work to do, BYEEEE!!!

Hey, that’s not my fault. I tried but everyone was all “oh nooo, Anduin is different from the thirty other corrupted people we had you kill! You can’t kill him!”.

My favorite revelation is Cookie the Defias Murloc Chef in Maldraxxus.

So - confirmed at the very least Murlocs have souls with as much intrinsic cosmic importance as Alexander Morgraine’s.

In which case, all of us were doomed to the Maw anyway.

The Lurker is in Maldraxxus as well. So add The Lurker, Krakkanon, and Karkanos to the list of reasons player housing is going to be in the Maw.

I want to play a Vulpera alt, but I don’t have the heart to do BfA content on a horde char atm. :frowning:

I mean you could just play any other expansion. The ARs don’t make more sense there than they do in BFA.

Rather surreal having a Zandalari get shown around Zandalar and treated as an outsider. Minutes after I was sent through a portal by Talanji to go sort out some Horde problems.

Was so jarring I did WoD stuff with him instead. Certainly didn’t make any less sense.

I still have to play BfA to unlock them though which is why I don’t wanna do it atm :stuck_out_tongue:

Ohhh lol

Honestly the questlines aren’t too bad. Even the war storyline never gets all that shady.

You strong arm some pirates. And yeah you raise people into undeath but Captain Stone acclimates to it with some help from Voss and Zelling straight up asked.

Otherwise nothing too bad for wartime and they let the Alliance be bastards in some spots.

MoP has been interesting because the Alliance straight up enslaves even Pandaren children to build an airbase. They did volunteer but under the misunderstanding they were helping to build shelter. When it becomes clear they’re building a military installation the Alliance decides they’ll stay till they’ve finished.

And I’m sure the Horde’s doing reprehensible stuff on the Blue end but the point is so is the Alliance.

In BFA what little wrongdoing the Alliance does is outright unviewable from your end. Sames true for the Horde. Hell stuff like Astranaar and Brenadam seem to be happening in an alternate universe. But that’s kinda a moot point as they made you complicit in genocide out the gate.

Doesn’t sound too bad. I do have a lvl 40 blood elf I could mess around with :wolf:

Okay Blizz can we STOP with the bombing run quests?!

They were only fun in BC because you did them on your flying mount and there were anti air canons and flying enemies who could dismount you. So there was actually some challenge to it.

Getting real tired of them.

I’d like it if they started to make flight dangerous in general. That way, we would get to move fast, not need to do an obnoxious meta-achievement, and they would get us to keep looking at the world like they always use as their excuse to say no at first.

I don’t like how weirdly obsessive some fanons are. I’m part of a Walking Dead forum where I get spoilers from, and the show is in its last season which should be a good time to have some high stakes. But none of the major characters have been killed this season and it looks like they probably won’t be, four major characters so far have been announced to have spinoff shows so that takes away any sense of danger for them, and one of them got into a life or death fight in the most recent episode. I pointed out how this is a problem in a review for the episode, then someone else in their review goes on some long speech about how they love the characters and don’t want any harm to come to them and the true stakes were in whether or not Daryl still had feelings for the ex girlfriend he killed which he doesn’t which is good because she was a bad lady who dared try to hurt my precious characters that I care for with my life and that’s one less mean person who will give conflict to Team Family (the fan name for the main character group and also my actual family don’t you talk bad about them!) and everything is going to be okay even though there’s eight episodes left so yay! I watch the Walking Dead shows for the horror aspect and what’s supposed to be a universe where no one is safe, not some soap opera with characters that have impenetrable plot armor so that the fans can have weird parasocial relationships with fictional people.

Seriously I loved the black empire worms. And also as much as I gripe about WM I LOVE the net gun.

Flight as invincibility was BS in general but it became particularly aggravating in WPvP as your enemies would just hang over head, making rude gestures.

Only once was one cocky enough that I managed to tractor beam him in with Mind Control. Outside that you’d just have to deal.

It’s got amazing range but isn’t hard to get away from on an epic flyer. Just go low and fast and you’ll either escape or be far enough that you might still be able to get back on the FM and bust out. Noobs always just go higher and that’s only viable if you can’t escape and have a glider ready to use.

And one time I did that but the DH did a crazy good glider jump of his own and CC’d me. So I levitated down as he winged down and that was an absolutely amazing fight.

I love having to think fast in the sky. It’s lead to extremely cool moments.

tbh I would say Wrath did that with making 10 man raids for every raid. Prior to wrath the only “10 man” raids were UBRS, Kara and ZA. ZG and AQ20 were made to be catch up raids. Like how ZA would be for TBC.

10 man normals for example were scaled intentionally to be easy. They were basically LFR before we had LFR proper.

I basically consider

10 man normal = LFR
25 man normal = normal
10 man heroic = heroic
25 man heroic = mythic

if I were to equate them to todays difficulty modes.

:eyes: listen man, my fanons are great, this is a healthy obbsession. lies

Apparently large swaths of the interwebs is referring to the Russian armed forces as “orcs” due to the lack of discipline and open barbarism of their actions in Ukraine.

Ya know I’m appreciative they give you a Succubus / Innucbus option but let’s ask the real question;

Where’s my femme felguard Blizz?

The Azov Unit (right wing paramilitary that were inducted into the army) started the use referring specifically to a specific Muslim Russian Unit (specifically the equally right wing problematic ones that were also paramilitaries inducted into the army) on their official blue check mark Twitter account

For reasons that escape me (Orientalism) it became used against All Russian Soldiers in the past two months
