You picked a good server.
I havenāt slept since 2018, send help.
Finally opened it up, and responded! What an exciting letter to open. Thanks so much for the correspondence <3
Oh whoops! Should have realized lol. Well still, hope you have a lot of fun RPing. Youāll certainly have a leg up as far as knowledge of history and cultural trends. Youāre a blood elf expert!
WRA is the coziest server. Transferred here from Turalyon in Cataclysm ā worth the money! Iāve been to so many nice events, from tavern RPs to lectures to improv comedy shows. Plus a fair bit of spontaneous world RP, too. Itās always a nice surprise to come across a group of people making stories out in a remote part of the world.
New blood is required.
Youāre welcome! (sent a response)
No.
So I thought I had to work at 5am today. Turns out itās 4:45, except for me which is 4:15. For some reason I have to clean up a mess that other newer people made.
I lied. Didnāt have to clean up someoneās mess. Just had to deal with some leftover work. Which wasnāt a lot. Makes me wonder why I bothered.
Imperius for HoTS boys
New victims are required.
Well account is now diasbled. Can I still post?
EDIT: Apparently.
So Iāve been doing some of the 8.0 content I missed, and getting around to 8.1 stuff too. Itās been a really good time, both from a content and mechanics standpoint. My Azerite armor is actually pretty darn interesting now, giving me free Spinning Crane Kick procs. Fellow monks will attest to how valuable free skills are for the class! I also have a new trait that interacts with my mastery to proc a free Xuen ā not only does it sell the fantasy of Combo Strikes even better, but if you have the Xuen talent, you can sometimes have two kitties out at once! Twice the fluff, twice the tuff >:3
I also did the Darkshore Warfront lead-in quests, and those were AMAZING! Loved the scene at Stormwind Keep, especially Gennās part. Then going and seeing Darkshore (outside the context of the Warfront) was awesome, too. The big moon, the burnt out husk of Teldrassil, the sorrowful musicā¦ such a finely-tuned atmosphere. And then there was my precious, comfortable, cozy Auberdine ā first the Cataclysm, now this. It was beautifully tragic. Truly an evocative sight.
The actual Night Warrior scenario was pretty fun too, especially the big cinematic in the middle. Itās one of the few cutscenes I never spoiled myself on, so seeing it with the amazing music and buildupā¦ no lies, I got chills. And even more chills when they showed the Darkshore cutscene from Blizzcon. Pandaren and Pandaria may be my modern favorites, but elf stuff never left my heart.
The incursions have been pretty great too! Nice and compact, lots of people questing with me, and some fun ideas for content. I liked the jetpack WQ in Drustvar, especially, and the stealth one in Zuldazar. Not to mention the ending of the Zuldazar incursionā¦ really one of those epic, imaginative moments that defines Warcraft for me. Plus a sweet Monster Hunter World reference at the end!
So yeah, overall Iām just really pleased and having lots of fun. I love how theyāre handling Genn, Tyrande, and Malfurion. Loving the music. Love Nathanosās little quips, heās a great adversary and I canāt wait to quest for him on the other side. Freakinā āQueen of the Tree Elvesā had me cackling. Next Iām looking forward to finishing up the war campaign and unlocking my fancy little lava dorfs ā though I really need to make up my mind on my Dark Iron altās class! >.<
Sniffle, sniffle.
Lately Iāve been going out trying to collect my missing spirit beasts. Itās actually been pretty successful overall! I have all the Cata-era ones except the crab (OMW to look for him now), only missing Loque and the bear from Wrath, donāt give a crap about the porcupines so I only have oneā¦ Pretty good, all told! So today I went for the moose. And wouldnāt you know, he was up! So I go for the tameā¦
My old Legion-era follower two-shotted him.
Sniffle, sniffle.
Hey, my tauren hunter has that one! Itās one of the only two spirit beasts I have, and I stumbled across him by accident. Later I saw some hunters camping the spawn location.
Traitor!
Though yeah sometimes they could be a problem.
The worst part was, I knew I should hit up my order hall first and dismiss Addie (sheās too adorkable not to accompany me on my journies). But I got distracted with music and forgot. And then when I saw my Bullwinkle, I just went in.
Gots me crab tho!
I love Addie. Some people hate her (like my brother because of the S.E.L.F.I.I.E. reference) but I find her endearing.
I killed that crab once on my Dk not knowing what it was. Reading the item description crushed me and I felt awful about myself.
Spirits raised! Through diligent effort, determination and helpful members of the opposite faction when I had to invade Stormwind, I am missingā¦
Two porcupines I guess Iāll have to eventually get.
Bullwinkle, who apparently spawns every 4-ish hours?
The ever-elusive Loque.
And two colors of mana saber that are all over Suramar, so Iāll get them last.
I started last week with just my spirit bird and purple wolfie from WoD Shadowmoon Valley. Not bad for a week of huntering!
ā¦ Sadly, Iām still a MM hunter. Why am I doing this again?
Because they are shiny and special and owing them makes us feel better about ourselves.
It is like you can read my soulā¦
I adored taming those porcupines ā they reminded me of boss kiting in the old days! Got all three during MoP even though I was Survival spec, and even when I did play Beast Mastery, I used Bombyx. But regardless, I just had to beat the challenges and collect 'em all >:D
Yeah, I canāt remember which one was the red one, but because they were the easiest spirit beasts to find back then I tamed the one that paths in Krasarang and the one from Jade Forest that you kite in huge circles. Krasarang wasnāt too bad, just be aware of the guyās ādeadzoneā, but man was the Jade Forest one fun!
