What I find so odd is Argus did Hell so much better than the Maw.

The relative peace of your space ship always felt like the calm before the storm. Because when you stepped out of there it was immediate unyielding demon chaos. Demons coming outta every crack. Fire. Lava.

It was anything but dull.

And the artillery pieces were actually gigantic demons below ground hiding. It was stuff of nightmares because you didn’t know the ground was hiding another suprise for you :wolf:

Whoever designed the Ur’zul needed to be in charge of the Maw’s thematics because they knew what they were doing.

The Ur’zul were and still are nightmare inducing creatures. It’s looks like something you’d find in a Silent Hill game :wolf:

How’d we go from that carnival freakshow fever dream monstrosities to grayish blobs.

I know I’ve pointed this out before but in BFA I kept saying that the factions don’t work well as PvE content as fighting dudes in armor gets pretty boring after awhile.

And then in SL - it was just the armor. They didn’t even bring the dudes!

The Maw on release was a perfect version of Hell; not for the WoW characters, but the WoW players. No mount, no real flight paths, boring quests, boring tasks, and a boring currency. But you have to do it for player power. An endless grind for the sake of it, and all the things that could make it better are removed and unusable purely for the sake of it. It’s not even visually interesting. It might be the most boring looking zone in the game. The same people who made Bastion, Ardenweald, Revendreth and Maldraxxus also made the grey blob filled with grey mobs.

It is legit my favorite creature in this game for basically that reason lmao.

Yeah I was kinda sad they did just armor and then didn’t even go nuts with the designs. Why do they all have to look like DK armor? Why not have six arms with different weapons, or massive metal monsters just lumbering around crushing people under them?

Why not have these MFers all over the place made out of metal?

I would, however, like to add I’m absolutely thrilled that they gave us hand mounts. We absolutely need more of those.

That you lost part of on death in a zone filled with powerful things and a narrow exit for maximum pvp camping.

Honest to God I never turned WM on in there after the first week or two.

Which was a shame because PvP spiced it up. Still remember some Feral I MC’ed off the edge three times before he finally got me. Thats literally the only fun I remember having there.

But as Maw content was mandatory and the rewards for having WM on weren’t worth the extra setbacks, I turned it off. Because it was a chore.

I was about to compare it to grocery shopping but that’s not fair to grocery shopping. At least I’m looking forward to something I get there.

The Neverending Story has an interesting Plot concerning the Nothing…

The Nothing is the creation of Humans wanting to turn imagination into lies and deceit…

Ah… but what if one’s imaginations were to be made true?

We rant about 3D-Printing the WoW Universe but who wouldn’t want to 3D-Print the Wonders of WoW into Reality?

Once we reach the point of Faster Than Light Travel we will likely be capable of such acts! All of our imagined creatures can be made reality as long as it’s not power-wise as obviously we still won’t be able to create Omniscient or Omnipotent Lifeforms capable of rewriting our own Universe(even if they can rewrite the Pocket Universes we created containing them) no matter how good our computers get!

Would it be victory for Fantasia or just one more deceit of the Nothing disrupting the power of Fantasy by forcing the visions of specific people on everyone else by making them physical?

My favourite holiday event! My feet are already sore from all the dancing. I just wish there was something to spend all those tokens on. At least I got some new shoes.

I like “a murder of calamities” - like a murder of crows. And it sounds more grim.

Oh my god, me!! I wouldn’t want that. Nobody should want that.

Does anyone here really trust me with the power to 3D print actual old gods whenever I want? Or an army of Sargerases (Sargeri?)??

I’d be one bad day away from flooding the universe with Zovaals out of spite.

This exactly. Giving us this power would basically recreate the backstory of FF 14.

Those who know how powerful 3D Printers would be would panic although any Aliens who are active once we got 3D Printing WoW’s wonders into reality would be already made sure we don’t end all Life in the Galaxy.

In any case Zovaal’s ability to wipe out the WoW Universe would be quite outside of a 3D Printer’s Tech to fully replicate. At most it would simply wipe out the Pocket Universe alone(due to the Pocket Universe being designed to lose all Life when Azeroth is sacrificed or when Argus uses his ultimate technique).

If it is Domination you are worried about. I’m quite certain the Aliens have already got you covered! They would be more capable of Dominating us than we of Dominating them!

Sargerases flying around chopping planets in half is no different from 3D Printing Khornate Greater Daemons at full size(in otherwords as big as a Planet). A nuisance at best to the Universe we live in! Imagine the army of Sargerases or Khornate Greater Daemons getting wiped out by a single Starkiller Base!

Starkiller Base is still not enough to wipe out even a Galaxy!

Any 3D Printer we’d be capable of making upon attaining Faster Than Light Travel is incapable of threatening the Universe. Only the one who created the Universe has the capacity to destroy it!

See, you’re thinking I’d be making a lot of Zovaals because of their power. Nope. Not the case.

I’d just keep making Zovaals to have a swarm of them. Unpowered Zovaals, just littering everywhere. Mercury? Gets its orbit disrupted because of a 500 billion Zovaal pile-up I left in Mercury’s way. There’d be a chain of Zovaals reaching from Mars to Earth. So many Zovaals just out there, chest-holes just out in the open, probably holding a bunch of mini-Zovaals.

Just because I’m in a bad mood and making a chain of Zovaals would make me laugh.

3D-Printing a swarm of Clowns will be quite common I assure you!

Bringing Fantasy into reality won’t stop people from trying to bring their Fantasies to life in ridiculous absurd ways!

The first Zovaal chain you describe is likely to get knocked out of the chain and thrown into the Sun(along with Mercury) while the second is likely to knock Mars into the Asteroid Belt(though consider Jupiter is not likely to be in a conjunction the Planet would not likely end up in Jupiter).

Earth spins too so we have a huge pile being toppled by Mercury and Mars(provided Earth is spinning the Pile of Zovaals in the path of both) disrupting both their orbits while leaving Earth unharmed(as the guys with the most power would be guarding both Earth and the Moon).

Higher Ups of any Faster Than Light Civilization would be protecting their Home Planet from those wanting to preform random chaos.

Yes Humanity will become Discord just as much as any Alien Race with Faster Than Light Travel will!

I’d print Malfurion for hugs. He seems like he has the best loving grandpa hugs.

So over the previous days since the Vow of the Disciple raid was released, we learn a lot of this Rhulk guy. We learn that he had a hand in the krill becoming the hive, was attempting to groom Savathun into becoming a disciple of the Witness like he was etc etc. So one could oversimply this and say that Bungie pulled a Blizzard, where Rhulk is just like Zovaal. Someone who was retconned in rather fast and was behind some important events in the story that has existed for years (the background of the Hive was revealed in D1: The Taken King iirc). And to some extent these people are correct. But at the same time they are not. Unlike Blizzard who wanted Zovaal to be behind… “in Gul’dans voice” everything… Rhulk only played a small but important role in tricking the Krill to serving the Darkness via the Worm Gods. Rhulk maimed the Leviathan, a creature that served the Traveler and was warden of the Worm Gods. Rhulk showed his strength and subjugated the Worm Gods. Taking their mother for himself and creating worm larva. Taking one larva and leaving it on the shores of the Krill’s island. Everything else remains the same. The “worm” spoke of a coming disaster. The only way to avoid it is to drown in the deep. Ignore the Leviathan’s warnings and make the deal with the worm gods. Where the krill will be uplifted by having those worm larva be infused into them. Where they will have to feed the worms by killing others. That is the extent of Rhulks story when it comes to the hive. Everything else we learn about him is about him and The Witness. No-one else. Unlike Zovaal who had to be behind everything in some way.

Another difference between the two is that Rhulk has a personality. He is arrogant, cocky but also a gentleman. Unlike other bosses in Destiny, he doesn’t attack you directly during the “puzzle phase” of his encounter. He only attacks during the damage phase. As he is challenging you directly. He will comment on your performance. Sometimes he will praise you, other times he will mock you. Depending on how well you are doing in his eyes. He also has an undying loyalty to The Witness. Rhulk is evil. He destroyed his own planet and people because he saw them as flawed. Only he saw the “truth” and that “truth” is the Darkness. The Traveler promises life but brings only death, while the Witness brings Salvation™. The Traveler is willing to flee when the Witness is coming closer, leaving those it has “gifted” to their own devices. Who knows if it will do the same with humanity in Lightfall next year.

And I shall summon an army of Wilfred Fizzlebangs to summon an army of Jaraxxus. Who will then go and kill ALL the trifling gnomes.

So something like is?

Yes, only Zovaals weilding Zovaals wielding Zovaals wielding Zovaals wielding Zov- You get the picture.

Pft. Addie will defeat him. Addie’s a real hunter now!! Jaraxxus better stay dead, because she’s got this one!!!
