Even though I don’t like Anduin as a character, the VA is actually pretty good when he is actually emoting. He did a great job in that quest where you are like summoning the domination blobs and he was in pain, we need more of him emoting like that as opposed to the measured/borderline sad talking he usually does.

I would just like to thank whoever infested the lounge for encouraging me to take a second look at the Blood Ticks. “Fingers” for legs, sea urchin mouth, earwig tails, and for some reason a smiley face on the belly.

Allegedly today is when we get a whole new Arbiter. Which is weird. Did nobody try turning the old Arbiter off and back on again? Maybe a reboot would have sorted the issues out!! And if not, we’ve got plenty of goblins and gnomes. Surely amongst them, they would have replacement parts.
But no. The system broke, so why bother to repair it when we can just build a whole new one.
The secret crime of Shadowlands that shall be its entire legacy is eWaste.

Pelagos becoming the Arbiter wasn’t bad, he had fully agency, and he chose to do it. The early outrage that they were erasing the trans rep was unwarranted.

An Arbiter made by Goblins would be a timebomb
Alright so… the game time of this account is about to run out and it’s not going to be renewed this time. I’m not sure when I’ll be back but I figured I’d just make this goodbye comment (for a while).
I guess it’s a nice thing that Blizzard has one less subscriber that they can screw over (even though this account only ever paid with gold, oh well)…
I just wanted to say that I was really hoping that the Night Elves would get atleast some positive development in Shadowlands… but it never happened. I had hoped that my fears about the Night Elf Story wouldn’t come true, but somehow my fears (and even worse things) all came true and the story was extraordinarily cruel to Night Elves both in BfA and in Shadowlands where they were supposed to get their resolution.
Instead what we got was:
- Sylvanas and the Horde (and everyone involved) getting away with the genocide and torture of the Night Elves entirely and Tyrande and the Night Elves being forced to accept that despite them not making any efforts to make up for their crimes
- The vast majority of the Night Elf souls being obliterated in the maw after they already had to suffer so much when there was a perfect setup and opportunity to let us free them from the maw instead. Not even I thought that Blizzard would be that cruel to the Night Elf souls, I had atleast some hope back when I saw that we freed a very small portion in the Night Fae campaign, but it was in vain…
- The Horde still occupying Night Elf lands and killing them while victim blaming them as of Exploring Kalimdor which even made it through the revision
- Tyrande and the Night Elves and others acting very out of character to make a narrative happen about how the victims (that also happen to be a matriarchal race) mustn’t pursue justice while at the same time saying that they can never heal because they were denied said justice.
- The Night Elves being excluded and ignored from upcoming world revamps (9.2.5) while the Forsaken are getting their zones repaired. The forsaken that had a huge part in the genocide of the Night Elves and the destruction of their zones and home
… and many more horrible and disrespectful things happening to Night Elves.
You get the point. Well, Blizzard seemingly just really don’t want Night Elf Players to continue playing their game. It’s a shame because of how much potential the race had. Not only were they very interesting, they also had a beautiful theme and they also looked very pretty and adorable with their new Shadowlands customizations, but I guess the writers just had the urge to destroy the most beautiful thing about the game and despite it being a fan favorite race, they still somehow got through with it.
I guess today (?) the campaign will conclude where they’ll make the victim act out of character to forgive the abuser and call it a conclusion… I won’t be there to comment on it but you’ll probably hear my screams across the globe. The mere thought of Tyrande being forced to forgive Sylvanas and let her search for Nathanos while the Night Elf souls were obliterated… 
I can’t believe that Shadowlands ended without a single positive aspect for the Night Elves, only tragedy, suffering and defeats.
Shadowlands ends with there being nothing left of the Night Elves, not even their souls are part of the universe anymore since they were destroyed. The end of the Night Elves… once and for all with no hope of them ever coming back…
I guess the only justice I can hope for at this point is for those writers to finally get fired and replaced with writers that don’t hate the Night Elves, that are willing to rebuild the race from the (soul) ashes that the old writers reduced them to through positive development, something the current writers were never willing to give the Night Elves.
My money is with a different game now, from an entirely different developer, one that doesn’t try to make me feel bad as a player. I’m also highly suggesting my friends that they never touch any Blizzard product so that Blizzard can’t pull the same thing on them that they did with me and other Night Elf fans. It’s just absolutely disgusting to allow this as a company, to let a writing team destroy a playable race entirely and make the game and story unbearable for the players of that race.
I’m most likely not gone forever, but for now I’m not going to look for an alternative to keep posting. I heard that some people can post without game time, but I wasn’t able to during the last few times so I doubt I’ll be able to this time. Maybe I’ll stick around and like a few comments in the meantime. Again I’m really unsure about how long I’ll be gone, but I certainly won’t spend any money for this game anymore.
I wish I could still express myself somewhere but well…
I’d happily change my view if Blizzard finally delivered justice and positive development for the Night Elves, but it’s realistically never going to happen at this point soooo…
Well, just wanted to get that out. There’s one last plea though: If someone tries to spread lies about me again, please do me a favour and ask them for proof. That’s all.

Yes. We get the point. You enjoy making melodramatic goodbye posts for every NEFPA Character you make. Just like your “Elesana Breakdown” a few months back.
Since you spend your subscription time making new Forum Alts and subsequently making good bye posts every patch cycle… I think you are right to consider your mental health and how your activities can effect you.

- When I have severe irl issues combined with mental issues and having to deal with the night elf story that once was sort of a safe haven for me, things tend to get out of hand. That was one time.
- This isn’t a goodbye post, I literally saif that I’ll be posting again, I’m just not sure when.
- I don’t know why any of this is your business in the first place.

but either way, may you find your break recuperative. This pattern of “goodbye comments” every time the Night Elves aren’t given control of the universe seems to take a toll on you and is rather unhealthy. I am glad you are trying to end the cycle.

I’m a little embarrassed by how cheerful I am about the datamined stuff.
…And I still haven’t touched the new zone. I’ll get around to it, but… Man, Shadowlands was not for me, all things considered. And I’m stupidly hyped to get back to Azeroth. And also ride a flame woof.

Though my problem now is that my next two toons are another warrior and my… third paladin to 60. So I can get the blood elf stuff and the dark iron stuff.
…Maybe it’s for the best I haven’t started the new Shadowlands stuff. I’ll need that time for leveling.
