Story Forum Community Lounge (Part 1)

Oh, I meant the second one. It was probably considered spam. I think a bunch of posts were deleted from the large one last night.

Threadmill.

Two of my posts were removed. Probably for the best.

What happened to his other thread? Which other thread are we talkimg about?

I’m surprised I didn’t get a forum vacation. It seems like the mods are getting better and just removing potentially offensive posts.

He made another Light Crusade thread, and tried to start the conversation all over again. It’s gone now.

The Light one. I think the second one got removed all together. I’ dont see it anywhere

Whelp, I’m discussing mod actions. Don’t want to get this thread locked as well.

Let’s not risk it.

Though I wish they’d wise up and not let Erevien spam.

So, has anyone watched the first episode of The Book of Boba Fett yet? What did y’all think?

No, but you reminded me it’s on my watch list after I finish season 2 of The Witcher.

If I wasn’t cleaning this weekend I’d be watching it rn.

It was good. Tamuera Morrison is just fantastic as Bobba Fett and he’s a great actor in general. Glad he finally got his moment to shine in Star Wars.

I had the biggest crush on him in the prequels. Just one look at him and that crush has been re-ignited.

I’m in the process of watching the new season of Cobra Kai, I think I’m up to episode 9 now. I love this show, it does such an amazing job of involving the characters from the Karate Kid movies. Terry and Kenny are my favorite characters.

TV Shows are where Disney flourishes it seems. Rebels was good too…as was Duck Tales.

The shiny Silver Armored Mandalorians from the Clone Wars Era are embodied by the Mandalorian of the Mandalorian while the dented Green Armored Boba Fett is embodied by the man himself in Book of Boba Fett.

The Mandalorian calls back to the Clone Wars TV Show(Ashoka, the Darksaber and Bo Katan) while Book of Boba Fett calls back to the Return of the Jedi Movie despite both being Return of the Jedi Era.

Star Wars Rebels takes place in the A New Hope Era. The Ahsoka TV Show will call back to that Era by seeking out Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Revenge of the Sith is divided into 2 Eras: Palpatine being given Emergency Powers while the Jedi fight for the Republic(Clone Wars) and Palpatine seizing control as Emperor while hunting down the Jedi(Bad Batch).

We need Attack of the Clones and a Phantom Menace Era TV Shows. Empire Strikes Back as a TV Show should center on Dagobah and Bespin City.

Star Wars spinoff shows and movies often try to connect themselves to major events in the trilogies. Sometimes, they should just be themselves.

The Sequel trilogy on the other hand collapsed because JJ Abrams decided to go with George Lucas’s "Luke becomes a Hermit" idea.

Having a never before seen Jedi(a specialist) be the one to go into exile would have been better for the Sequel Trilogy as a whole.

George Lucas devastated Luke’s Character with his proto script for the Trilogy…

The Han Solo Film became dull due to the Directors and Writers constantly changing.

The original plan was to have Darth Maul and Darth Talon in the sequels.
