Storm-Singed Plunder

Just played Plunderstorm and hated every minute of it. But I got the 5000 plunder and logged over to the character I wanted to receive the Storm-Singed Plunder on, and their mailbox is empty. Closed the game, relaunched and logged back in, still not there.

Lots of players are having that same issue.

Iā€™ve earned almost 15k since the Blue post about Keg Leg sending mail and still no reward.

Any updates to this? Same issue.

Not that I can see. I checked the mailboxes of all my characters and thereā€™s nothing. Radio silence from Blizzard on that post, and I canā€™t see any news on wowhead.

Yeah same. I donā€™t think it will matter since it is a widespread issue it appears. I think Iā€™ve opened up more bug tickets this week than I have in the entire many years Iā€™ve been playing. It is crazy how many loot and mail bugs make it to live/retail now, like nothing gets QAā€™d and tested.

The ticket was responded ā€œThereā€™s no bug, you should check your mail with all of your charactersā€ :confused: Thereā€™s nothing!

I started investigating on what couldā€™ve happened to the mail. I noticed that many other players have mentioned being affected by the same issue, and not receiving any email after reaching 5,000 Plunder.

The Development team is aware of the issue and itā€™s currently investigating it. Reports like the one you just submitted, and by the way thank you for doing it, are helping them to pinpoint the source of the issue. Currently we do not have a workaround for it, so I would ask for you to have a little patience while the situation is revised and a solution is offered by our Dev Team. Our goal is for you to have the best gaming experience while being with us.

You can check the forum where you posted for any updates regarding this or our official channels. If you have any other question on this issue or any other that you may need assistance with, just let us know and we will help you in the best possible way.

This is the response I got. All we can do is wait while they work on it, thousands of players have the same issue. I just hope I donā€™t have to play Plunderstorm again, I actually hated it. No offense to those who enjoyed it, just not for me!

The content sounds fun. Accessing things are not. Blizz, please take a bit more time and stop releasing bugged content. I used to hate patch cycles being so long because of ā€˜when itā€™s readyā€™ but at this point you are sending out half finished stuff on the reg. The game is becoming frustrating.

I got a similar response from a ticket saying that just need to wait.

I came here to basically say, ā€œSame.ā€ I wasnā€™t even told they were working on it in my ticket response. So thatā€™s nice to hear at least. This was the ticket response I received:

First and foremost, I would kindly ask for your understanding that to help you resolve this issue, please check the following:

Ensure that you have accumulated at least 5,000 Plunder. This is the requirement to receive the mail from Captain Keg Leg. And as you have reached 5000 Plunder already as per what you said, I would kindly ask for your understanding that sometimes the mail may not go to the character you expect. Please log into each of your characters and check their mailboxes to see if the reward has been sent there, also I would highly recommend checking comments left by other players that were in the same dilemma as you: https://www.wowhead.com/item=234422/storm-singed-plunder#comments

If you have confirmed that you meet the requirements and still do not see the mail, it may be a bug or a delay with that mail being sent to you from the NPC. In that case, I encourage you to report this issue on the forums, as our customer support team is unable to assist with Plunderstorm-related matters.

Just came to say i went and farmed ~15k plunder today after seeing the WoWhead article for the storm-singed plunder and did not receive any mail. I logged into every toon across multiple servers checking their mailboxes and no-go. Hopefully fixed soon. Need them to acknowledge this issueā€¦

Hello,

Since the day the ā€œPlunderstormā€ event was released, I completed the 5,000 points on that very same day and used them to purchase the mount I was missing. Iā€™ve just now learned that upon reaching 5,000 points, the item Storm-Singed Plunder was also supposed to be sent via mail. However, I have not received this item on any of my characters.

Hello: I have received the same issue above. I was told to report on the bug forums after submitting a ticket.

Iā€™m in the same boat. I had earned ( and spent) a couple K. After earning 3k more I checked to see if I got anything. Nope. So I went back and earned another 2.5K, so well over the 5K total. Still no mail. Oh yeah, all 5.5K earned after reading the Blue post around 11:30 PST Jan 31.

Feb 2, 13:20 PST. Itā€™s been a couple days now. Since then Iā€™ve played a couple more times and earned a few K more. Bought a new pet. Still have over 5K in my bin. Still no reward in the mail.

Iā€™m also experiencing similar issues with Storm-Singed Plunder.

Checked all of my 80ā€™s with no result. I even grinded out an additional 2k plunder to make sure I wasnā€™t off despite buying more than enough to cover the 5k

I mainly joined the game using the one lvl 80 character through the PVP tab in wow. Maybe one-two games through the character select screen.
Played Solos for several days in small amounts of a few games at a time.
