So, There are 4 zones - with 4 different types of event, that are on an RNG spawn; but on a timer (Roughly 3 hours)
This means, if you need Firestorm in Thaldrazsus, it might be up at 1am on Monday – and then not again until another ungodly hour.
Please;
Make these storms so there is always 1 up in each zone, and have each zone rotate individually.
Right now, it’s really disrespecting people and their time.
Especially since it USED to have 2 up at the same time, and they somehow thought nerfing it was great… it’s not.

There’s other things I need to go back there for, but I am in no particular rush. I think the titles and some of the mogs are most appealing for me. I find other things to do that I prefer doing on a regular basis though… we will see. XD OP is having a full aneurism
Basically its the achievements for doing each of the four types of storms in all four zones, plus some bosses/rares.
I’ve been trying to complete those for a long time now, before the new achievement. I got the ones for Waking Shore and Azure Span done really quick and easily, as they seem to be the ones that are always up.
But the ones for Oh’naran Plains and Thaldrazzus, I’ve still got two for each of those, and the few times one of those two zones even get a storm, it’s one of the ones I have done and don’t need.
I check every time I’m on, and one time, I almost bailed on our guild’s raid night because one was up, but would be over before we were done. But I thought, it’ll come around again, but sadly, I haven’t been on when it did, assuming it did, which it must, right?
It’s really frustrating, because unlike a low drop mount or something, I don’t even get a chance to try to do it. It would be like for a holiday mount, there’s RNG on whether the boss will even spawn in when you queue for it.
You are in no particular rush because this is a remade, new achievement.
The first one granted Veilstalker title, which I have.
They remade a new one granting a mount.
We still do not know if the Taivan mount will be limited edition (Disappear when expansion is over) or if they have moved away from that ridiculous design and will leave it obtainable forever (as it should be).

Aye, I am personally stuck on Thaldrazus (3 storms) and 1 in Waking shore.
I play on EU as main, but US forums get more attention - EU is treated with silence 99% of the time.
I mean, on EU you can reply as much as you want - here on US you get denied with the prompt “Let others reply to the thread”.
I agree with the latter, in a sense, but it also stops discussions from happening in a sense.
Either way, its a different treatment for different regions.
To me that one isn’t nearly as bad as the DF one, the SL’s one is far less RNG dependent IMO in comparison to the DF one. The bulk of the DF one is pretty much pure RNG for a lot of components for it, which as cited above makes for having to play at odd hours to do some components. Where as the SL’s one was just grind this and that for a while for anima and rep and you’re done, the Necrolords can prove to be a PITA with the construct dailies. Otherwise, its just a lot of camping for some of the maw rares and checking ZM for the frog world quest.
Never said I have any authority, but it’s my judgement of you; everyone has their own judgement of people.
Claiming anyone is an authority of opinions is, again, very childish.
And yes, it is just a game - a game should be fun, and you should be able to progress on things when you have time and skill to do so.
RIght now, we have a game dictating when you can progress, that’s terrible design, no matter what way you wish to turn it, because that turns this into not a game; but a 2nd job which you pay to attend, cause you now have to adhere to its schedule; not your own.

Good luck on farming. SL achievement is, thankfully, more forgiving ; and newly added as a possibility to continue doing (with a new reward).
Continue to live in your box and be unaware of history.
That’s the thing about metas people don’t seem to understand: they’re supposed to be long term goals. It’s why people were mad they made SL limited and people have been advocating for them to be permanent. These things are supposed to be what you work on bit by bit over time, to give something to do during lulls and keep people playing.
You’re going to have people not take you seriously when you immediately fall to the buzz phrase of “not respecting my time.” It’s a meta. The entire point is wasting a crap ton of time. So is this entire game.
If you’re frustrated by the RNG, welcome to the club, we all are. But raging about “respect muh time” and insulting others isn’t going to get you far. That’s all.
There’s RNG on the Assault quests. RNG on the Covenant quests, etc. The Shadowlands Dilletante achievement has its own thread for how bad it is.
All of these metas have crappy RNG. To me, that’s just part of being a long term goal for a meta.

I’m not frustrated by the RNG, I am utterly disapointed by the fact that they can’t design something in a fashion that is more fun and less dictative.
Also; Your first point to Nui about “Meta are supposed to be long time goals” – You are clearly blissfully unaware that the previous meta for SL gave you Veilstalker title (which I have), and was 100% time limited to the expansion being active and removed once DF arrived.
They just now added a new version for the mount.
We do not know yet if they plan to keep the Taivan one as an evergreen-progress-possibility; or if they plan on doing a rugpull from anyone attempting to progress it after DF.

It isn’t. It’s a video game. An MMORPG. They have RNG. It’s a meta achievement meant to take an entire expansion or more to finish.
If you want respect, try giving it first.
