idk man i just cant really see a sub price on a video game being touched by inflation.

Expansions do not release yearly, they release every 2 years. It’s hardly an expense. All the services are optional and I doubt many people use them. As for the cosmetic only items. I really don’t see how they’re affecting anyones game play at any point in time, ever. If you’re mad cause you can’t afford but can afford the sub fee then that is a different issue. It is 1000% harmless, optional and does not look better than the 10000s of items you can obtain by playing the game. One single set you can buy does not discount or discredit the others you CAN get through gameplay. I swear half the people who play this game need to find a new hobby in life that isn’t gaming.

I understand both sides of this.
Cost of living inflation applies to any person functioning as an adult (I dont add children because their respective guardian yada yada) and entertainment would be included in your general cost of living.
But, Its also a correct statement to say the WoW Subscription hasnt taken an inflation because based on the US dollar I dont think it has. Even the gaming industry as a whole has stayed roughly the same pricing for a VERY long time.
because one might cut into the other in my opinion.
if we have a finite amount of dev time. then again i dont know really what happens behinds the scenes.
id like it more outsorced if we are to keep both options.

I have yet to see transmog come out of the store that looks good. That fae set is a big nope and those three helms years ago were just bad.
That being said, I don’t care if they want to incentivize longer subs. It’s something anyway. Don’t like it? Don’t sub fo six months.
