I remember it, but I lose track of time! Haha
You keep saying this but I keep finding nothing on it.
I know, I’m looking as well. Until we find it, why else would they not add more transmogs until now? They’ve added a plethora of pets, mounts, and even toys now.
I mean, if the best thing we can think of is “they just didn’t have any ideas for transmog sets to sell” that’s pretty weak.
True. Can they make in-game items also cool? Well… who knows. It’s not the case in most mmos tho.
Yeah something I don’t understand too, unless now is the right time to start 6-month sub and they are planning to play the game that long. (Considering there’s no refund in game time.) But well, can’t blame them about it, they can use their money for what they want.
Just, for my money, nope.
Blizz have disappointed me a lot with story since 8.2.5, and this is the last straw.
Wow. Okay. I didn’t even make it halfway through. You are a very hostile person. And I can’t believe you actually think you aren’t insulting people.
Nevermind. I don’t want to even deal with someone like that. It also makes me believe you made up what you’re saying so that you can keep belittling everyone.
Now is when the new 6 month cycle starts for most people that started the 6 month subs for the free mounts. I believe we are 4 cycles into this program now.
I mean, if they were cranking out tons of armors and cool in-game items out already it wouldn’t be as bad…but every expansion since MoP we’ve barely scraped by with a handful of “cool” 3D armor effects.
In MoP it was literally only belts…
Which I can almost guarantee you people who claim they’re saving money by doing this don’t play the full amount of time. I’m an avid WoW player, probably playing slightly more than average players and I’ve regretted paying for 6 months of WoW multiple times despite it always being installed, updated, and ready to play on my computer.
I mean, It really hasn’t been that bad in the past. It was bad with the cash shop, but we all just slowly let it slide…but honestly I feel like since 2019 It’s just gone insanely downhill. From firing thousands of workers (apparently in service rep department) cause their ticket responses are always automated unless you make a second one and even then your standard response is “Oh I’m SO sorry you’re facing these issues I really wish there was something we could do to help you in this situation and I completely understand your frustration a hundred percent, but unfortunately we’re unable to do anything about this”
I had a vanilla GM after 8 + tickets over a basic loot issue essentially tell me that they can’t help with almost anything in classic. I guess 'cause It would be considered a waste of resources & time or something…
Adding toys was another huge annoyance / slap in the face.
Maybe it’s just because we’re in one of the, almost unarguably worst expansions in the game’s life, but I just feel like quality in the last year alone has just dramatically shifted from where they stood before.
I mean, they literally insult me / my opinion, what should I have done? Continued to be nice? If you’re going to be a jerk to me, I’m going to do the same thing to you. But go ahead and not quote all the terrible things they said to me…
Oh I heard that 3 months or so passed from the last 6-sub package? Well, didn’t care about it much tho, never intetested in those packages.
If it is the right timing for you. : )
I was actually wondering about it the last time they announced the free mount. It was 3 months into my 6 month sub so I was like… am I getting this cool looking mount? And I did.
My 6 month just happened to renew 2 weeks ago (Imagine getting a notification that blizzard just charged a chunk of change and not remembering that it was sub time… having to rush to my bank app and then looking at it and going doh sub time)
At first I wasn’t interested in it then I sat there and realized… I’m going to pay for it anyways monthly so why not just buy in bulk and save myself a value meal at applebees or somewhere.
I started from the beginning. As soon as people started disagreeing or giving their opinion, you started being all condescending and mean. So they made smart comments back and then you got hostile and insulting.
You also seem to like to dismiss everything you don’t like with “regardless” and “yikes.”
I hope you aren’t like this in real life. It’s very toxic to people around you.
Good day.
Honestly, I would buy those mogs provided they add Famous npc mogs in it, like valeera, Vanessa, jaina, Gul’dan, lich king, sylvanas, Baine, Saurfang, etc…
that would be pretty cool actually.
Basically she is making things up… she “quotes” but then says she can’t find where she quoted from. She claims there was outrage but the only thread I could find was on wowhead… with a whole 149 comments on it… most of which are the same people posting in a discussion on the items. She intentionally misquoted one of the quotes which was what was causing a issue on actually finding it.
I could have sworn I saw that she stated that she has a 6 month sub earlier in the thread because I looked for it when she said she wasn’t going to get a 6 month sub. Alas I’m not going to bother combing thru all her comments because she’s arguing just to argue at this point.
Her little statement about people harassing her is cute thou… she reserves that for anyone that disagrees with her point of view.
I thought the first one was with MoP, and we got D3 for free… whenever that one was, is when I started the 6 month plan, to save the $24 annually.
They didn’t start giving bonuses so often until recently.
How long ago was the mechanical dragon mount? And wasn’t the year of the rat one before that?
Why is a game with paid subscriptions and expansions at the price of full games devoting resources to a cash shop for items that have no impact on gameplay?
Oh wow… I think you are right. I totally forgot about the D3 giveaway.
Squeakers? I believe so.
because people like the items and purchase them.
Much like the reason why there are different brands and types of chocolate bars at the store… they sell them because people buy them.
If people like them, why not just give them away for free? I wasn’t asking why they sold. I’m asking why a game with such a huge income from players is using that money to create more things to sell them instead of improving the game.
I never said I quoted anything, I said I loosely remember them making a statement about transmogs and not adding future ones and they were merely testing how it would go.
I mean, people literally made youtube videos mocking the decision…so…
I already acknowledged I can’t find where it was stated multiple times.
I mean, if you’re going to harass me and try to argue me out of my opinion in a thread I made…yeah I’m going to tell you to leave me alone.
That’s like me saying my favorite color is red and people coming in and saying “Oh no, you have a purple transmog…your favorite color isn’t red”
Sorry, but you can’t tell me what I think about Blizzard’s action is wrong, It’s MY opinion.
To milk the fanbase over a botched expansion to make up for revenue instead of just taking a hit and realize they need to do better in the future.
There’s people who have stated in these forums during non-flgith that they’d be willing to pay $50-100 for flying at the beginning of the expansion. Does that mean It’s a good idea?
Making up for lost revenue due to a bad expansion + just cooperate greed in general. They also fired thousands of employees and their customer service reps are literally automated responses that have nothing to do with what you’re asking almost 75% of the time in the first ticket, forcing you to open a second in which they more than likely will just tell you they can’t help you…
Things have gone so downhill, It’s a real shame.
So basically it’s like this.
Project lead: Hey boss, check out this thing Milton in the art development dept created. We didn’t think it fit with any of the quests as a reward but this thing is really cool looking.
Boss: Throw it on the store and tell Phil good job. BTW who is Milton?
Project Lead: Milton is that guy that we moved down to the basement to make room for the foosball table. He keeps asking about his stapler.
Boss: Get that man a stapler…
