Uhhh, I may be wrong but those may be gone. I maxed out a Vulpera yesterday, went to Org, got the quest to go to Voldun and the inn keeper just gave me the Heritage set. No story, no quest line, no nothing. I didn’t even get an intro quest line.

They weren’t ever quests for allied races. Only the base races has the story stuff.

Yep. I did it on a Nightborne and Zandalari. Highmountain Tauren too. Upon reaching the required level, all I got was a quest that said “come here asap” and they just gave it to me when I got there. BE had a small story to go with it though.

You literally disprove yourself in you own sentence. You pay for the 6 month subscription and get the mog as a free bonus. I did not have to pay a single cent for the mog because the mog is included as a bonus for paying for the 6 month sub. The mog on it’s own costs $27 I didn’t suddenly pay $112.80 for a 6 month sub and a mog, I paid the $85.80 6 month sub, as I have for years.

If you use gold and buy tokens you make Blizzard $5 more a month
I pay less and get more between retail and classic seems like a no brainer to me.

Once again… shop has existed since Wrath. Has 17 mounts, 16 pets, 2 toys and 1 transmog. All created by a team that doesn’t work on the development of in game content.
Please go over the number of years and do the math with how inconsequential that is compared to how much content and cosmetics are in game.

It’s a dumb set that is obtained through dumb means. You don’t exactly look like an intimidating champion of Azeroth, so I think it fits right at home in the cash shop. You can’t exactly build good and introspective lore around most of these items.
You can with some, but what are you going to do, put the pig mount on a vendor for 6 million gold?
Maybe people would try to farm gold for it. Maybe they put it on a cash shop, I don’t care that much tbh
