I’m actually not speaking of the added bonus received with a 6 month subscription. You pay a sub and get access to fun, unique ways to obtain items in game. I pay a sub and get the same. However I occasionally make a purchase in the game shop of an item created for the shop to provide something fun for me and provide further support of the game. If you chose not to provide that additional support of the game that’s okay.
It’s a little concerning that you are so upset about others making the choice to send a bit more support to the Blizzard team that creates and maintains the game for you and me. I hope you find some acceptance and peace.

The game time isn’t free but the thing that showed up in my wardrobe that I didnt ask for was a free bonus.
If I woke up tomorrow and it was no longer there I would be exactly where I was 24 hours ago. Running around in Azeroth using my 6 months of game time, that I paid for.

I was picking clams from a sand bar near my house. They didn’t seem particularly happy, they spit at you sometimes

Oh I missread what you had said, you didn’t. My bad. Just everyone else childishly is.
And I prefer that that contribution come in other manners than in-game items. Everything in-game should be obtainable in-game through engaging means by playing the game. Not throwing money at the company.
Like I said, I’m glad people support the game, I don’t support the direction of more and more and more cash shop items being added with the continued requirement of a subscription and expansions.
It’s getting out of hand. If people want to support Blizzard or they need support, they should ask for donations or find other means. Not take development away from the game to make things they’re going to charge us for.
It hasn’t, truly if everyone agreed the thread would have died probably 500 responses ago. Truly people acting immature and harassing me are keeping it alive and that’s all I care about, that people see my opinion and are able to agree! Which according to the amount of likes, is quite a few considering this is an insanely small group of people.
They added an entire tab to the section of the store. They wouldn’t do that if they didn’t intend to add more, unfortunately.
Just like the item. There’s no possible way to get it without spending money, meaning It’s not free.
So if I go into a store and I buy a shirt.
The shirt is tagged $30 and $1.50 of taxes. I pay $31.50 and the store clerks says “here are these free socks.”
Can I give those back and say “oh no please take the price of these socks off my purchase because nothing can be free with a purchase.”?
