I signed up for a 6 month revolving account to save money over time as I have for many years. When I signed up for this pay method it was without for knowledge of a transmog that would be offered as a reward for doing so.
Therefore no, I didn’t pay for it. When I signed up for it, it did not exist.

There is a sizable “secondhand” if you will market where the loot cards are still sold. So a shop experience which you were previously unaware of?
You could simply save yourself some time here. Blizz has chosen their income streams. Don’t like it - your opinion and certainly you’re entitled to it. But this isn’t changing anything nor is it taking anything away from the game. Shop feeds the game as in the cash it generates just like subscriptions or sales of any other licensed item. I get you don’t like the shop but to be fine with all the other revenue streams is inconsistent and kinda petty. Fun stuff is available in game through play as well and not through the shop. It’s like there’s something for you with your subscription and something for people that are cool with providing additional support of the game.

Yup, they made an public announcement after people like myself posted about their disdain for the idea and said they wouldn’t be adding anymore items and that it was just to test it out.
But you got it because you paid for 6 months of subscription, there’s that word that’s literally an antonym of free…PAID You could not have gotten it without paying.
No, like I said It would have been better if they were all added as in-game rewards as well but it was a small handful of items and It’s discontinued, as the cash shop should be.
Weird, then how come it worked 10 years ago when they tried to add transmogs to the store…? And literally made the company acknowledge and apologize saying they weren’t going to add anymore transmogs and they didn’t for 10+ years?
You can believe whatever you want, but insulting people to stop them from stating their opinion on how things are going is kind of silly, especially since it worked in the past…

I don’t care that it’s tacked on with the subscription, the fact that there’s transmogs in the cash shop is the issue and that there will be more in the future instead of being able to obtain them through fun unique ways in-game

Free isn’t always unconditional. Like I said before. Buy one get one free is also a thing. I am curious how your store responded though when you threw a tantrum in their store about not getting it for free without paying for the required one to get the promotional reward.
