Blizzard this is highly ridiculous I mean you see over and over this bug keeps getting reported that people who bought store transmog that it gets removed from their collection. When are you going to actually fix this? End rant. Because it just happened to me.
Unless I’m missing a solution if I am please providing it down below I don’t want to think I’m unjustified for ranting about this.
Stop buying this vaporware?

I think more importantly, they should suspend sales on these digital products until they can fix the problem. Or a disclaimer at the time of purchase.
They have no problem taking your money in a hurry. The time it takes to fix problems will vary problem to problem. I’ve been hearing about this particular issue for some time.
Agreed I don’t understand why they don’t fix this right away. But the weird thing is I had these things in my collections for months and it just happened today. So, it’s just absolutely baffling they haven’t fixed it yet considering they are money hungry.

The team believes they’ve identified what is causing this to occur and are now working on a permanent solution. That may still take some time, so I don’t have an ETA I can share right now but I did want to share progress on this since I know a lot of people are interested in it.
Happens on my Paladin all the time. I switch to a store transmog and a few days later it reverts back so I have to keep repaying for transmog changes.
There have been complaints for years about these things. But they have no incentive to fix them, because people keep buying stuff despite the fact that it disappears and they have to pay again to re-transmog the item(s) that went poof.
I don’t understand why they can’t share the issue they think they identified if anything that would put my mind at ease more. Ah well at least they know and hopefully are working on it. Edit: particular rude of me but forgot to say thank you as well.
Why would they share it? Are you part of the coding team that would understand it? It’s irrelevant.
But I recommend never buying anything from the store ever again.

I agree, some info is on a need-to-know basis and what would be better than explaining what the problem would be, is to just fix it. xD
And I agree, there are a few things I wouldn’t mind from the cash shop (the water tiger mount and murloc backpacks) but there is no point in getting something with your real money if it’s availability for you to use in-game is spotty.
(Not to mention, the Collectors Edition fiasco made me livid!!! Unrelated but still)

I’m still cheesed that my achievement date for it is now way off. Le sigh.
And I’ve also learned my lesson on professions now, too. Won’t be leveling those on alts ever again. Because they only store data for two weeks and if they don’t see activity in those two weeks, they won’t help you recover three expansions worth of work.
