The mount art team has zero to do with the content Dev team and a store mount has no impact on the game’s design or direction.
You people that insult and blame others for buying something purely cosmetic are what’s wrong with this game, because of the ignorance and toxicity you portray.

How bout spending that cash on a delicious dinner instead to treat yourself, and even a 6 pack o’ some brews!
It looks great but I have gotten too many store mounts let alone mounts.
Mounts for me mean very little as a reward, not that the vulpine isn’t beautiful it really is.
I only wish I could give you more upvotes.

I didn’t even know it was happening (Christmas time, am music teacher it’s crazy). Husband bought me the mount and said “Log on and check your mail!” Total confusion from me. Opened it and screamed and squealed. I am an idiot. But it’s awesome looking, it’s adorable, and I enjoy it. We don’t spend our money on other things and WoW is kind of our “fun thing.” So, I appreciated it.

A fox with magical wings pops out of its armpits and able to fly looks so stupid.
Count me out.
On the contrary, the meat wagon doesn’t looks half bad.
I don’t even play WC though so 40 bucks is a hefty price for a mount.
I bought it and love it. There’s not enough good blue mounts in the game beyond a handful.
do you have the pvp fox mount?
Even in an age when the game is in a sorry state, ppl will throw their money into the store and not realize they’re giving Blizzard less reasons to proceed good content.
Why would I bother with 100 ppl saying your game sucks if 20 ppl are willing to pay an amount equal to the same total 100. I can just cater for the 1/5 willing to spend until Oblivion. Milk that sheep until she’s dry.
The devs aren’t even invested in the game content anymore but they have the time to create a beautiful mount. What a surprise tons have left.
I don’t blame anyone for buying it, it’s a lovely mount but we gotta stand together and let Blizzard know these predatory pricing strategy, this lack of care for the player base will not be accepted and buying this mount at a time like this where Blizzard is only trying to milk us with sub-par content will not be accepted.

People act like store mounts haven’t been a thing for years and that this mount is the end of all things. My goodness.

Actually, Blizzard is why WOW is in its current state, not us.
Microtransactions for cosmetic items don’t matter all that much for WOW. IMHO, the credit for that should go straight to the art team, who seems to be the only part of WOW that nobody’s complaining about.
I’ll complain about the storyline, I’ll complain about class design, I’ll complain about not having anything to do, but GDI, the game is beautiful.

Sorry. That’s passing the buck. Corporations are responsive to consumers. They don’t do anything that runs against their primary goal of maximizing profit.
Microtransactions are the problem because the consumers pay for stuff that should already be in the game as a reward for GAMEPLAY not just forking over $25 bucks which is almost the equivalent of two months sub or half the price of an expansion.
Blizzard only sees green. If their bottom line is doing well it doesn’t matter how many forum posts you make complaining about game design or content. The day you stop giving them money is the day they stop and listen.

What special “cause” is this going to find?
Please stop rewarding Blizzard for their consistently bad design decisions by lapping up their “we’re losing subs and we need money” mounts.

It’ll be a nice little extra Christmas surprise for my wife. I’ve spent 25 dollars on dumber things, like cigarettes for most of my life. I think it’s a small price for someone who appreciates it.
