After picking up the quest the Dreadful Defender doesn’t show up to kill. Done this on 3 different characters and each time I have had to wait for another player to do the quest and it works for them then I was able to finish.

You can abandoned the quest and reaccept. That will fix it.

I did abandon it 3 times but the issue for me is that the quest cannot be completed. I see the question mark but cannot hand it in.

I’ve done this multiple times, logged out, switched layers and still not able to turn in the quest to Emberthal.

I am having the same issue with not being able to complete the quest-reloaded ui/rephasing did not solve, logging out didn’t fix. Same quest, but this is certainly something new/different that what this post was created for the npc does show up and you can kill him just can’t turn quest in. Blizzard please look into this quickly and resolve. Thank you

So this is still not fixed, how does this not get fixed it is the CAMPAIGN, ffs. Be grea to be able to progress and get the quest line to advance so I could get the raid quest.
Can we get a response at all, it isn’t like this is the campaign or anything.

Having the same problem. I tried abandoning and doing it again multiple times, nothing seems to work.

same here. not working. abandonded and redid it 3x. the “?” shows on the map, but not on the scalecommander! =(

At least I’m not alone… been relogging and stuff next to emberthal, like everyone else, can see completed in log and on map but no one wants to talk to me.

Same, dropped and redid, still cannot turn in.
Emberthal still bugged for turn-in. No amount of relogging, reloading, abandoning and retrying, or leaving and coming back has resulted in change. We’re at the mercy of Blizz on this one.

I agree. They know of the issue and should have already had it fixed. We are stuck in a deadlock til they fix it.
Im having the same issue- killed the defender and see the question mark on my map but no question mark above Emberthal. Reloaded, relogged, abandoned quest and redid it and still nothing. Boooooooo
