it might be a date error since the old old forums had a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT background to them(jet black/obsidian) and gave you a preset avatar.

i was really hoping this was an old thread complaining about necros that ended up getting necro’d
for awhile blizz also let you make your own signatures in your posts till some people took it to far and blizz than disabled them.(they made some very distasteful signatures or made REALLY REALLY HUGE ascii signatures.)
If this is about who I think it is I made a post calling out the moderators and where he has violated nearly every rule in the TOS. That post was deleted and he is still here, so they have explicitly approved the behavior.
It wasn’t to one person in particular, there’s a few out there that revive old threads intentionally.
The only times I’ll forgive a necro, is if the conversation is stimulating enough to warrant it and if the thread is still relevant today as it was back when the original post was typed.
Other than that, should really delete threads that haven’t had any engagement in at least 4 months.
The one I’m thinking of has at least 4 or 5 alts I know of he uses to reply to himself or bump threads created by his alts.
The funny thing is, they do on the Classic forums.
Why there and not here?

But yes, it’s the same people who constantly do it

Yeah did that once as joke on a thread about Necromancers 
But got flagged and banned for like a month which was not fun cause apparently no one has a sense of humour on here

Blizzard literally wants people to necro when they go to make a new post and there is an existing one covering their topic. It shows them which posts to add to.
I feel like this thread should be resurrected every so often.
