I notice sometimes when you google something, an old thread comes up. Sometimes people aren’t paying attention to the date when they reply.
I’m also sure there are some that necro on purpose too.

The more you tell people to stop the more people are going to do the opposite.
Just report them for spamming since there is no necro report.
That’s why I type NUMBER OF TIME LATER in big letters when I see it.

Accidental necros are one thing, I fall for one every now and then.
But there are folks out there that go “I’m bumping this” or they give a quick one-liner to revive it. Always the same people too.
I’m gonna wait 2-3 years then necro this one.

They do it on the Classic Boards, so I don’t understand how they haven’t implemented this on the rest of the site.

impossible they deleted those forums a long time ago. like 10 yrs ago.
Why does this bother people so much?
Because normally people are replying to someone who doesn’t play anymore so them making their point is like peeing into the wind… or the information is severely outdated.

that happens a lot on the cs forums with my threads. saw one made by my mage from 2 yrs ago get necroed the other week only for cs rep to say i probably no longer play the game.
