No one was asking for this change. This wasnt even on the radar. There are other ways to ensure Ulduar gets its time in the sun. I’m not stalwartly opposed to the idea of keeping Ulduar relevant but I think there are other ways to do it than reducing gear levels.

Maybe vanilla wow just wasnt for you? If youre looking for extreme difficulty in raids, look to retail. Why should the game literally be changed to accomodate you and those like you?

It makes more sense to leave the game as it was - I view changes in difficulty due to ilevels being tooled with as a corruption of what the OG devs made.

There are hard modes in WOTLK that very few guilds completed. Why do we need more difficulty added by people who didnt work on the original version. I dont like it.

I’m all for the ilvl squish if it’s going to make the later raids more challenging.

Not everyone wants to faceroll through every raid and full clear it in the first week. Phase 1 is going to be a complete joke. People on the PTR are clearing Naxx with 3-4 healers and pulling all the trash before every boss at once.

My biggest fear for WotLK is the same as it was for Vanilla Classic and TBC Classic… that most of the content/raids would be faaaaaar too easy, and it was for the most part.

They listened to you with SoM. How did that work out?

Then why are you playing classic instead of retail mythic raids? This makes no sense.

Why is it impossible to imagine that I like the core gameplay loop, content and lack of systems (found in retail) but I don’t want classic to be easy and boring when it doesn’t need to be?

Sure, you’re not asking for retail, but you’re asking for a different version of the game that most are looking towards. “Harder wrath” is a niche that’s probably not popular

Considering how much people lost their ever loving mind over “no changes” because people then gamed the hell out of the game and they cried about elitists…yeah I’m fine with making the game slightly more difficult and less play the patch vs play the expac

Warriors are gonna care a lot when they realize Shadowmourne is gonna be nerfed. I don’t think they caught on yet. They are warriors afterall.

Again OK have you actually looked at the item levels I’m telling you if they nerf the gear by 13 item levels It literally kills TOC there will be no reason to do it.

If there is 13 item level differences on all difficulties form Ulduar and toc If you don’t believe me look it up yourself So this is what will happen if they do this

This people will gear up in 2 or 8 tear 9 will come out And literally there will be no reason to do it except for maybe some trinkets depending on how those look is those luck and Tierset bonuses aside from that you will gain no power from tier 9.

You know, there was a time where I was not happy with where retail was going. I decided to unsub at that time and play others game more aligned with my wishes and desires. Nothing stops you from doing that.

And where did retail go with that? Doesn’t look like your route worked. Complaining seems to do a lot more considered they have walked back a lot of things they have done due to complaining and not sub counts.
