As it is? it’s not really as it is when it’s the players exploiting known content. I welcome changes that :poop: on pserver players. SoM destroyed the rogue/warrior and WB meta. People exploited content knowing that the game isn’t really good to current tech. Id rather have a challenge, not a push over raid because pserver players ruined what made the game great, not knowing. I want that over whatever this min/max meta sheep :poop:. just play the game your own way, not some one elses and trying to be number one parse player. Esport speed racing BS, *massive faction imbalance or lack of an opposing faction.

Blizzard should have done one server of each, PVE and PVP.

RPPVP and RP should be their own thing as well, just because they are pvp or pve you should be role playing not taking advantage of it because it’s basically it’s there also labeled as such. These servers should need to be community based. in all honesty, you should apply to blizzard to even play on those servers.

Now I get it, people want to play the game as its intended difficulty, but I cannot accept how players are playing the game compared to an authentic classic wow. People had addons that weren’t even there on its original release, it gained addons later throughout its phases. Whatever this is, it’s not to the actual spirit of classic.

In all honesty, blizzard should have banned addons and put some retail features that players used as major QoL to the game. That’s absolutely no reason why blizzard shouldn’t have put in these features. And you’d be lying if you weren’t using addons to play the game. Do I think there’s players that didn’t use addons? I honestly doubt it.

Yep, Wraths raids are kinda meh. Although Naxx is awesome - its recycled from vanilla. Ulduar is great. ToC is not that great. ICC is great. The Obsidian Sanctum is meh.

There is no “spirit of Classic.” Stop over-policing how people decide to play the game

Oh shut up, you already police people on how they should play the game already.

:face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I’m more than fine with people playing how they want to as long as their way of playing isn’t stopping the majority from enjoying how they want to play. Crying about add-ons/dungeon finders/etc. isn’t especially compelling when you can decide to put those restrictions on yourself if you really do want to go against the grain.

this…would have been one way to get ulduar run more.

it does for retail its a mog pinata really. to the point I hate taking my s.priest here (not great aoe for the courtyard mass pull that happens) but once that is done its mog hunting time. so she is +1 alt run,

and you get to troll whoever is there in wrath dalaran with not one but 2 speeches by the fountain. as you get the heroic and normal ring for the quest.

get a few mog/mount hunters there and old boy speaks forever really.

Touching gear cannot happen. Just let Ulduar last 4 months or something. Half a year. Don’t touch the gear and don’t touch power creep. People are coming back FOR these things. Taking that away would turn lots of people away.

Very Interesting. You like when they make changes that benefit you and encourage them to make changes but when it’s something that makes It harder you’re against It. What a cry baby.

Wrath should be how It was there should be no changes.

I’ve yet to hear a compelling argument on why slightly lower item level will suddenly change the entire experience of wrath lol.

The majority weren’t making either claim. I would assume they were satisfied with the way things were.

You know normally I don’t agree with you but for this one yeah you’re completely right if they go forward with this change TOC dies Because there is a 13 item level difference between the 2 raids So if they do this effectively tear 8 and tear 9 We’ll have no power difference except for tears at bonuses.

Compelling arguments? according to what standards?

If a casual says he wants an easier time raiding and less grind of older content his argument is disqualified?

If I say it risk bringing unforseen consequences and balance issues it is invalid?

If someone says he doesnt want to raid ulduar all expaction long and prefers toc it is invalid?

Nope, they can all just deal with it because it’s not a current problem for me at the moment. We’ll revisit if I find myself inconvenienced by it though

Everyone likes to exaggerate and act as if the change is nerfing toc into the ground. ToC will still be good, the change just keeps ulduar valid for longer.

Also what balance issue? We aren’t going to be entering some new unforseen item level.

Except it won’t if they go through with these changes these changes TOC will not be relevant in fact it will be dead There will be literally no reason to run TOC and if they really want Ulduar To last longer keep it out longer it’s that simple.

Because if you look at the item levels which I keep pointing this out between all difficulties Of Ulduar and toc.

It’s 13 item levels so if they do that there will be literally no power difference between between the 2 raids effectively making TOC a worthless raid Is outside of maybe tearsept bonuses.

And if the argument is they want to keep And go with the classic design well that’s already there why did people go back to MC easy thunder fury Is why are people still running BT glaves no other reason.

If why are people still running gruels DST that’s it So it’s still the same concept and there will be trinkets for people to go back for any older raids as well so from what I see they don’t need to do this nerve because what they’re looking for as far as an ecosystem goes it’s already there.

Itemization does not need to be touched in wrath It’s completely fine it’s not like people do not have a reason to go back to the old raids especially Ulduar.

Because let me point something else out that no one else has there is achievements to go back and do so it’s not just items people go back for it’s achievements to do as well so again.

Blizzard needs to leave itemization alone it’s completely fine

ToC will still be higher item level than Ulduar though lol. It goes

Ulduar normal boss loot > toc >ulduar hard modes > togc

Literally everyone will still do toc. People were still running molten core when aq40 came out

It’s not always about what YOU want.

It may be unwanted by you, but it’s wanted by many others.

I think in the end let blizzard make the changes and then decide if that changes our desire to play the game.

We kind of need to be aware this isnt the original wrath when we were all terrible at WoW with less access to class guides etc, this is the wrath of 2023 where everyone has easy access to BiS lists, theorycrafting etc.

I mean unholy is a dual wield spec now at the top end, which was never seen in original wrath.

This right here, i would have loved to see better balance in the first 2 to bring more class specs to playability meta wise … this was a learning experience when first done and the ILVL squish, although tricky, is just better if its done right. It keeps 10 and 25 man in line better.
