You dont decide the number of mobs i can handle at once or when i pull. I decide that, because thats my job as a tank.

If you want to do the pulling, roll a tank. Then pull to your hearts desire. Ive seen far to many geoups wipe and mess up because of a dps running around pulling for the tank.

Its not narrowminded, its logical and following the role dictated to you.

Unless I’m healing (which I always am) then I’m fairly involved with how much you can handle.

This is what beginners think yes. Ay higher levels of play it is often preferred for other roles (usually healers) to pull packs into what you are already fighting.

Once again, this works great for beginners

Often you can tell by their demeanor immediately. The hunter who attacks the pack 40 yards away and immediately stops and backpedals a bit, probably an accident.

The hoppy boi doing spinning barrages with his pet taunt on, yeah I’m letting him have all the aggro he clearly wants.

It’s one of the reasons I stopped tanking quite a while back. I only ever did it while leveling, which is probably the worst experience for tanking. lol

It’s not a sin, if you have consent of the group.
Without consent of the group it IS a sin.

Also stop acting like misdirecting mobs to the healer is a sin!

I don’t tank often but when I do, I don’t mind a DPS doing it as long as they aren’t overdoing it and endangering the group, OR as long as they aren’t complaining to me about aggro.

Because that 5 fury or whatever from heroic throw is going to make or break me. It is much more beneficial for a rdps to fire the shot and LoS it back to me than for me to throw my weapon and it do the same thing. Especially since ranged abilities outrange heroic throw by 10 yards most of the time (moreso for AoE abilities where the baseline range is 40 and you get the radius of the circle as well) .

O.K. to be fair a Geared DPS can solo Heroic or Mythic 0, 2, 3, so this I agree. But anything beyond that will be frowned upon.

I typically don’t pull trash on my warlock. When I heal keys on my shaman however…if the tank isn’t taking damage and I am bored I will GLADLY pull for you since lava burst spam is only fun for awhile.

I let them fetch for me on islands. The fastest IE I ever did involved a demon hunter and a hunter hunter bringing me things.

So Mr. I’m too awesome. I decided to look you up on Raider I.O.
415 ilvl, 48.7 level Heart, No raid or Mythic + progression for Season 3.

Can you tell me why you are so Awesome? Also no to your original post. Tanks pull, not other players. Unless it is a hunter using misdirect onto the tank and thats normally only ok if more adds show up to help the tank with aggro.
