Stop throwing gear around and rewarding mindless play

So are you saying that WQs should have been made to completely ignore Normal Dragon Soul back in Cata or Normal ICC just so you could jump right into heroic?

That should not be what heroic is for, that should be what LFR is used for speaking of Mythic 10+s, these WQs effect them equally due to their ilevel also being 430 (as well as rival rating in pvp like I said).

Alternative gearing methods sure, mindless WQs that take no skill due to no difficulty? Nah, something like mage tower comes to mind not WQs.

I’d like to take a hit too!

Looks like casuals wouldn’t have to raid to get this gear to upgrade with ,but raider will get it before anyone else does and pvpers,Reee… for pvpers.

Don’t know what she’s smoking but it must be good.

You saying this is the date for 8.2?

yup,it’s there in fine print on wowhead.

Can you give me a link friend?

Everything I’ve read says no official date, speculated date is end of June/early July. Even the stuff I find on wowhead says the same thing. If it was going to be the 28th of May for the patch they’d have told us by now. There hasn’t even been a release candidate of 8.2 patch on the ptr yet.

Even the article he links says they won’t meet the 28th. Besides, that was just a joke about the whole 77 days per patch cycle thing.

A previous theory revolving around MOTHER’s quote “comprehensive analysis will require approximately 77 cycles,” 77 days from the date of 8.1, March 12th, is May 28th. You can read our full reasoning in this article, though it looks like this date will not be met.

Just speculation, I was gunna say wow didn’t it just come up on PTR recently?

Even if so, if it were set back a week or two the palace raid would be out a couple of weeks after the 8.2 patch.

Possible Release Date

When could the dungeon and raid drop? Previously we speculated they will launch July 16th, as that is when the Season 2 PvP gear schedule ends. From our release date speculation article:

The Season 2 Conquest Reward schedule lists 25 weeks of rewards. As Season 1 lasted 20 weeks, a 25-week season doesn’t seem unreasonable. We appear to be deviating from the Legion Arena season schedule, in which seasons occurred more frequently than new raids. With the ongoing polish to WoW’s Esports structure, now all competitive forms of content update at the same time–raids, PvP, and Mythic Plus.

If we count 25 weeks from the start of Season 2, January 22nd, we reach July 16, 2019 for the start of Season 3 Battle for Azeroth, new Azshara-themed Mythic affix, and new raid, Azshara’s Eternal Palace.

This would also align well with the recently-revealed WoW Esports calendar, in which there are two seasons in 2019 for both Arena and MDI. A new season starting in July evenly splits the year in half.

The one awkward part is that Season 2 would be split up by system changes with the introduction of Patch 8.2 Azerite changes and new traits. This could affect the competitive balance, similar to the Patch 8.1 class changes that affected the Season 1 meta in December.

Yeah, I don’t see them hitting the date of May 28th even if that was the original goal.

Damn that you showed it to me, BFA is such a great expansion why didn’t I think of that. It sure doesn’t look like a 2nd WoD or worse. Oh wait it does. BFA is dumpster fire status.

Mobs in Wqs scale, better gear will help you but don’t worry Blizzard are making sure ANYONE can kill any mobs in wqs. Entry level gear would let do wqs way fine.

There are a lot of reasons to do casual content, and wqs being the bottom of those shoudn’t focus on gear. It should serve for gold (I’m even ready to make it wod level of gold), ap and ressources mainly. Add to that a vendor for wqs currency with mounts/toys/pets could put 1-2 piece of gear there 1 normal ilvl, one heroic (Again don’t need to just give full set). Oh and flying requires wqs, so you get flying too and you can find rare spawn too that can drop mounts and etc.

You keep making kd the statement “Are you saying?”. If ypu are asking suxh a yhing, I did not make such an implication.
Mythic and keys did not exist then, so the implication isnt applicable in anyway.

As for difficulty, that is your opinion. Difficulty depends on the individual. I find the game as a whole simple. My father in law who has played since beta does not.

Mythic +10 is hardly affected in anyway because of the gesr they drop. Let alone you have not read what the benthic gear requires based on your statements.

His alarmingly idiotic views on “same rewards for zero effort” are the exact reason this game is on it’s deathbed. I don’t have much faith left in the human race, but the fact the game is dying for catering to his kind at least proves his “logic” isn’t that widespread.

So according to some of the whining around here I can look forward to getting BiS from WQ’s right?
