On Kromcrush-US, the “Stop the Fires!” event in Brill cannot be successfully completed. In two back-to-back attempts around 5:30PM ST today, we quickly doused every fire (and I mean every fire - 5 of us running mounted around Brill saw no fires, and they would have spread like crazy had any been left lit), yet the Headless Horseman’s VO lines continued as if fires were still burning, and he never proceeded to the ground phase where we fight him.

Can concur, on Bloodsail Buccaneers, the Headless Horseman at Brill seems to have lost his lighter. He flies around the rooftops yelling about how he’s going to burn things down, generally scaring the orphans and making them cry but he’s all bark and no fire.

Did it on a level 6 Human Rogue on Faerlina no problem.
Waiting for group to fill on my main on Kromcrush in Brill for 15 minutes and couldn’t get it done with like 7 of us there doing it.

In brill sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. I’ve seen the fires refuse to be put out no matter how much water is dumped on them, meaning you can’t win. Other times I’ve seen all fires put out but he acts like they weren’t then eventually says you failed. I’ve circled every building, found no fires left, but it fails.
The real failure is from Blizzard, again. 15 year old event btw. This is not a beta test.

Guys, I have reserved the part-time intern assigned to TBCC to correct the invisible belt issue with guild tabards. He says it will be only a few more months.
The fire bug is low priority. The intern said that maybe he will have time two years from now to look into it.

Odd, on Ashkandi, I did this event yesterday afternoon with no problems in Goldshire. Maybe it’s just Brill?

To be honest, I blame it on the #nochanges crowd.
These bugs existed back in original TBC and if we’re gonna have as few changes as possible, by golly, they better be willing to accept the bugs, too. Like the succubi corpses that stand upright after they’re killed, to the Ironforge->Hinterlands FP being absolutely bugged, to the plethora of other bugs I remember from original TBC that are still present to this day.

thats the part that confused me, the actual launch of TBC went totally without a hitch, all the content available at launch was almost entirely bug-free, yet every release since has been an absolute mess. Why? where they just spending way more time on tbc launch content?

It’s bugged on Azuresong too. (At least since I last checked last night. I don’t have my computer running 24/7 and will check again later)
I already had my main account deleted completely that was dated back to 2007. I intend on deleting this one too because of this problem and quitting WoW for good after my time runs out in November. It’s not that fun for a short term event to be out of commission completely. It worked all the other years without issue…
Anyhow it’s been pretty fun. World of Warcraft is a memory I won’t forget, but it’s time to play other video games instead.
