Now, I know a LOT of you will disagree but you guys don’t understand. Mist of Pandaria had almost every class with insane burst and this was balanced and a lot of people looked back on this saying it was the best expansion because of how balanced everything is. So, stop saying rets need to be nerfed, stop saying convoke needs to be nerfed, or ww or arms. Because, there are a ton of people that are good right now and you guys don’t even realize.
WW is good, Boomie and Feral are good (Which is kinda huge), arms is good, frost and unholy are good, priest is good, all lock classes are decent (Demo kinda low tho), hunter might need some buffs but they looking strong, ret and hpal are good, rogue is decent (But needs some buffs since it kinda got gutted), mage is pretty decent, demon hunter needs some buffs, shaman is like really good right now with each spec being very viable.
So, the only problem so far with this season is some classes are a bit behind like Havoc, other hunter specs, rogue, and demo. So stop calling for nerfs and start calling for buffs. And don’t start with “Ret can one shot, NERF!” because you can stop it you just choose not to. Disarm, cc, stun, etc stops it. Heck, you can even run away if you want! Convoke? Interrupt… Convoke is really good but it can be interrupted. So if you die from it, you either didn’t stop it because you didn’t save interrupt, cc or stun (And that is a player problem not a class problem.) then you’re bad. The only way to die from it is if you get caught in a huge cc chain which doesn’t mean convoke is op but rather the enemy team played better.
So what I’m saying is a lot of classes are really good right now, a lot have a ton of burst, so keep it that way. Buff the under performing classes and we good…
That is not what I’m saying. I’m saying each class right now is doing really well with each having its own set of big burst, defensives and utility. Why nerf classes just because you can’t play the game?
One-shot mechanics aren’t good for the game; don’t get me wrong, we should be able to kill people if we’re popping all of our CDs. But it feels awful to die to one single ability… Rogues covenant ability deserved the nerf as does many other classes. Convoke, condemn, the hunt, kyrian spear, chain harvest. These are overtuned

The hunt, nah. Havoc has nothing else and if they wanted to nerf it then bring up the rest of havoc’s skills so he can actually do damage.
Kyrian spear just holds you in place, the real problem is bladestorm and if you catch it quick enough, just disarm or stun. Pop cds if you have to and if two or more people get caught by it then that is your team’s fault
Chain harvest is not that big of a deal, it does big damage but if you took that away they would have nothing really…
Rogue’s damage was crazy but they gutted you guys, they didn’t even nerf a little bit. This is because everyone cries and complains and so Blizz freaks and out and guts them. Rogues still need a buff…
So what I’m saying is most of this stuff can be countered and it’s the player’s fault if you die because you didn’t save cds, disarm, cc for this stuff…
can’t disarm and you cant stun a war in bladestorm. Convoke in 3s is extremely strong, you have no idea which side they’re going to pop out of and will be able to cast for at least 1-2 seconds before you can stop it. Just frustrated that they gutted rogues while leaving other one-shot mechanics in the game. Where’s the logic.
Warriors spear before they bladestorm, just disarm because you see it coming. And save trinket and stuns for convoke, I’ve never died right off the bat from a convoke opener because I have everything to stop it.
People don’t even bother changing targets when big defensive CDs are popped right now. I’ve personally been killed multiple times from full health by fire mages through pain suppression.
Until the overall damage in the game is brought to a level that big defensive CDs matter, then nerfs are needed to the crazy burst damage some specs are doing.
You guys don’t understand, but ok. Have fun when Shadowlands turns back into BFA with 100% 15 minute dampening games because everyone is gutted and does no damage. Sounds real fun…
Tell that to all the boomies playing with an hpal who uses aura mastery right before popping convoke, or to the melee cleaves without gap closers that get wiped in 1,5s because boomie popped out of stealth from max range and convoke.
This one shot meta where everything can die in 0,5s without even giving people time to react is so unhealthy, stuff dies in less than a global with the most random damage, there are classes that need buffs (mw, rdru, dh) and many many others that need nerfs (yours for example lmao). This isn’t a healthy meta, and everyone that knows how the game works will tell you that. Ask any r1 they’ll tell you they like a fast meta but this is way too fast.
How am I surviving then??? I have 0 defensives for magic and when they swap to me I save stormbolt or interrupt with charge or heroic leap to stop them. I don’t one shot like these guys and yet I’m 2200, seems like a problem with you guys. I’ve ran into boomie and ret on the same team and won. Wings? Disarm. Convoke? Be there to interrupt it. Save trinket if you have to…
Many streamers I talk to say this feels like mist again and are very happy with it…
Maybe it’s just my comps that super counter but I’ll watch other players and they shut down convoke instantly and it never seems like a problem… I’m also scared that if convoke is gutted, boomies are garbage again along with feral. This is how the nerf Armageddon starts and everything is gutted back to bfa damage…
was playing some 2s around 1700 the other day and ran into prot pal boomy. He came out of stealth with paladin bubble and convoked. I cloaked and tried to cheapshot the guardian so I could kick it but my priest already got full mooned for 20k.
You said it yourself, warrior is the class with the most utility in the game right now lmao. You have 2 gap closers, you have a 20% dmg reduction that u can sit on for the whole game and still pump insane dmg while still having your op utility, you have ignore pain which is a retarded absorb, you have dbs, overwatch, intervene, rallying got buffed too. Most classes aren’t as lucky as you.

Boomies are insane even outside of convoke, they’re critting for 15k instant starsurges lmao wdym.

Instead of actually improving and finding ways around it, you just complain. And the only thing op right now about warrior is intervene, we’ve been crap for forever while everyone else have been having fun. Again, you guys just want nerfs and more nerfs and more nerfs. Why not instead of nerfing convoke, you buff enhance so you can stop it or something. I’ve never had a problem with convoke unless my entire team is caught in a big cc chain. But whatever, ruin the game and bring us back to bfa pvp where it’s all stupid 100% 15m dampening games. Sounds real fun, while we’re at it, lets bring destro one shots back too. Lets have only one class have the capability to one shot instead of 5-7 that can one shot right now. If everyone can one shot, why is it that big of a deal??? Im going to have to say that shammy are one of the few classes that deal real will with convoke tbh. u got shear and ground. Ive grounded a full convoke before so yeah. Both of these are also short cd you should have one up for it and if you dont then just wall and you’re good for 2 mins. Im by no means defending convoke, it is absolutely disgusting and should be nerfed but I jsut wanted to say shammy does have a few tools that do help with it as grounding covers the damage for your whole team.
