Dispelling is a tool used for and in PvP. PvP doesnt have to be on your terms. All thats required is a player engaging another player

I didnāt mention anything about fairness. Im saying there has to be some intent to actually engage in pvp. And that is not what dispel camping is about at all.
are you saying that dispelling peopleās powerful buffs does not help your faction interact with another player more effectively?
Or are you saying low levels should have absolutely no way to interact with higher levels at all? Even after the high chance for them to resist.
These buffs were designed with purging in mind. Itās meant to create this atmosphere where world buffs mean something. If you want them not to mean anything, play on a PvE server.

Iām saying the people who are using the mechanic for the sole purpose of greifing should 100% be subject to a suspension. Iām all for dispel if the intent is to weaken a player to kill them in pvp. We both know spirit camping isnāt that.
And they are, if somebody is specifically targetting you as a person, they can be banned.
If somebody sees you and wants to interact with you because they happen to be there, or because thatās what they want to do with their time, itās fair game.

On a PvP server this thing you claim is wrong.

So many times. Usually run into a gank squad in Felwood or someone picking off stragglers on the way into BRM.
edit: my favourite was DMF week and I got BA on Vael as we killed it so i instant hearthed then was jumped by 2 rogues in IF just outside of mage quarters.
I only get world buffs so I can kill horde players who steal buffs I donāt care about. 200 IQ PvP tactics
I am guiltily of camping song flowers, they are just way too effective at bringing in the HKās
Iāll point out that this has backfired on me a few times because there was another enemy rogue waiting for exactly the same thing. Now I go expecting enemy rogues and feral Druids

Iāll be getting my buffs later tonight before raid. Takes me a little over an hour assuming everything goes well. I take every precaution and look behind my back at every turn, I love it.
Its like you havent played classic or something. Classic pvp is a means to an end and little else. No one cares. Listening to players whine about getting dispelled is way more entertaining than pvping in this game.

Someone thatās ilvl 400 could solo a normal dungeon quite easily. People have even soloed mythic keys on retail in both Legion and BfA.

Eh, good PvP engagements are still fun. But admittedly, having to grind out a million honor a week for a month to get access to the good stuff isā¦painful

Takes me less than that. If I can organise a summon it can be less than 20 all up and thatās being generous. Buffs can last through both BWL and MC.
My guild practices new strats each week to try and lower our time as much as possible. We love our play together, itās your own responsibility to match your play with your own goals.
