Stop rewarding the 1%

If Demon Hunters could read.

No player is.

For you, probably. For me? Well, it’s my ideology.

I don’t know Eula and my significant other doesn’t like me talking to strange women.

This is obvious.

I’m not a lawyer, so why are you linking legal documents?

Neither am I, but I can read well enough to understand what it says. This is one document that you have agreed to, so reading it might be in your best interest.

I can read, too. But I only see what I choose to see, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. I’m re-reading The Dark Tower series, presently. But I can’t say that any legal documents are on my Summer reading list.

Not to mention the fact his entire thread was started over him wanting a PVP mount without PVPing. So this really isn’t about more rewards for casuals as it is about wanting the SAME rewards as everyone else which is the definition of an entitlement mentality.

The classic forum take of “I’m not asking for it so nobody is asking for it” when in the last 5 comments, someone else explicitly asked for it.

This is a main reason I stopped really farming for mounts and pets - just too many in content I can’t do. If I can only realistically get 80% of them why bother at all I will never complete a collection.

When I see that take in threads, I always make a point to ask for whatever “it” is.

All I see in this thread is a bunch of people who want their hands held because they aren’t good enough to achieve things within the game.

The entitlement within GD is so unreal, it’s laughable.

Get over yourself, you shouldn’t just have everything handed to you on a silver platter just because you pay $15 like everyone else.

Maybe try working towards that goal if you want it instead of going to Blizzard about not being good enough, that’s how these “top 1%” got the mounts/cosmetics they have because they WORKED for it.

So sad man, really.

I just don’t play as much or pay them as much. I no longer buy store mounts or pets either for the same reason.

You get to keep your rewards but I keep my money.

Whatever floats your boat man

By reading through the replies to the OP, aside from the OP itself of course – I think some people are mixing two different things here
I feel the tone of the OP was more on “best looking” gear, then it later got mixed in with literally just “best gear” later in the thread.

Best looking gear is not really the same as best gear.

The other problem with this kind of topic which will lead to more arguing — appearance is subjective. The old story – what YOU find looks cool, might look terrible to me.

So since there’s no real win there – I’ll just say this

I will never have my mind changed that the literal BEST gear (not talking about looks! talking about quality/power) SHOULD
read this slowly
“N E V E R”
go to those that don’t do competitive content (Mythic Raids, ranked PVP/Arena) in an MMORPG game. I don’t do competitive content btw - but I fully support what I just said.

BUT yes, talking flat out appearance wise – the game should have ways for those with a more casual playing approach to the game can still make their characters look BA, can still get BA looking mounts , etc.

In short – highest POWER gear should be for the hardest content
but ALL players should have access to cool LOOKING gear.

Didn’t know people started drinking this early in the day. No one said “top 1%”, they’re saying only 1% of players ever engage in that level of content. No one’s asking for them to hand out rewards but instead not remove them after a few months have passed. You and every other person unwilling and unable to read are making a completely different argument.

They started out with best gear for hardest content which was fine but then they keep on adding more and more rewards for doing the same thing which isn’t fine at all in my opinion.

Hey Missionary

Glad your pointless crusade found a new platform amongst the blue haired basement dwelling mount collectors of GD

best of luck

I could be swayed by this argument.

No reason to argue this on the arena forums when the 6 regulars all share a single brain cell.

Just be part of the 1% so that you’ll never have to worry about the 1%.
