Stop rewarding the 1%

Your country elected an idiot who denied that climate change is the reason why you had a nation-wide wildfire before Covid hit so…

To be fair, you opened your mouth without thinking twice of the effect it has. Obviously you got looked upon for a better judgement of your character.

There is a lesson to be learned from this.

Can you give an example to this? The gladiator mounts aren’t this great to begin with, I take more offense in knowing that they do not update old stuff.

The problem aren’t just recolors but things, which should never been locked behind the high end content.

Can we stop with this childish American attitude?
“You disagree with me, you are a Trump-supporter or right-wing!”

You had a proper education, use it!

Sir, I’m from the south.

The big problem with things like limited time glad mounts is the fact that they are always more intricate, more detailed and elaborate than their PvE equivalents (if there even is one). The very act of adding armor is the exact same as adding additional 3D components to the newer mogs (especially the chest pieces). These mogs are usually more desired than the painted on 2D mogs we’ve had in the past.

This is the ultimate source of the envy happening here. It’s perfectly understandable. I’m not saying a casual should be able to easily get a glad mount. But there should be equal effort made for the mounts casuals can get. And that just doesn’t happen. It never has. And that’s a problem.

I mean, look at this:

Elite sets from bfa onwards don’t mean anything

Legion and prior at least meant something about your experience on a class

What about all the pve mounts that have unique models that we can’t get in pvp? Effort went into those. Effort spent on pvp is the absolute last thing people should be complaining about. Shadowlands is the culmination of zero thoughts or effort being spent on pvp

They literally couldn’t even get the tabard colours correct and we went 6 months being unable to mog our conquest weapons if we switched covenants

There is something wrong with your brain… something very deeply wrong.

Address the argument, where did that even come from lmao, do you realise how stupid you look right now?

You’re basically admitted defeat and are trying to quickly shift topic in a pathetic attempt at character defamation, what the actual hell is wrong with you?

What the hell does any other that have to do with what we are talking about lmao, like I said earlier, your brain worms are leaking.

Are you so quick to forget the corruption madness in the last season of bfa?

torghast is what you’re describing. the majority of the playerbase hates it

Hello friend!

Let’s say she had the Glad title, do we REALLY know if it’s authentic and she earned it?

A lot of skilled players sell their time for those achievements and carry others. This reason alone is why your precious rewards and reason are skeptical and why I’ve changed opinions on this topic.

Unless it’s 1 vs 1 or an actual WOW tournament, non of it means anything. It’s like playing amateur Basketball at a local YMCA or Park.

Just saying. :sunglasses:

:sunflower: :rainbow: :sunflower:

At least bfa allowed us to buy corruptions with echoes of nyalotha acquired through pvp, which is more than shadowlands conduits and legendaries offer

Creation catalyst being an option for pvp is also a mild joke considering you get 22 cosmic flux per arena win

I was able to gear all of my alts through a few world quests for CF. After the first two, they were able to supply the rest with enough resources for dual legendary and full 4pc on 3 characters.

I agree, but hear me out, doesn’t that mean that everything IS obtainable for everyone?

Just at a premium?

So what are we arguing for?

Get good at the game and buy a boost.

They can if they want to. They do not want to, and so, they will not. They may say that they want to, but saying and doing are two different things.

I don’t.

That is exactly what I’m griping about.

I complain whenever I feel like complaining. It really is that simple.

I made a choice to spend time in the game I am paying to play, therefore, I deserve the same rewards as everyone else who paid and spent time here. Simple.

Yep.

That is how I feel, and as I only speak for myself, I am unconcerned with anything other than how I feel.

That’s why I’ve been here since 2004. This is true. The issue is two-fold: 1.) The amount of casual solo content needs to be increased as demand for it is going up and if we have an increased focus on such content, it would only make sense to accompany the content with compelling rewards, especially if metrics show that a significant portion of the playerbase treat such content vas their entire endgame, and 2.) the need to resist pushback from people who don’t like the fact that casual soloists can get most of the same rewards “hardcore players” do and that the emphasis on our playstyle will only be increasing as WoW’s population matures and people tire of finding new friend groups and guilds. The time will come when we are all old and cannot be bothered, but we will still have money to spend on the digital world we have invested in so heavily over such a long period of time.

Realistically, the sooner Blizzard starts designing gameplay around the 50+ demographic, the better they will fare with customer retention in the coming years. It’s only a matter of time before those of us left here are just playing to break up the monotony of daily life at the retirement village and doing quests to stave off dementia and keep our minds sharp.

People who came to test themselves will tire eventually and will either leave or become lone casuals themselves. A philosophy centered around pleasing fair-weather players is productive for the company so long as they can keep drawing the migratory crowd back in season after season, but the more that dries up, the more it pays to please those of us who pay our sub year-'round and who spend our time inhabiting the virtual world that we support.

Okay?

Risks are bad, mmmkay?

The game was built on a foundation of story - a war-torn world inhabited by disparate, formidable races comprising two factions; the MIGHTY HORDE and the losers alliance who are locked in an eternal struggle against one another, the forces of undeath, and the Burning Legion itself.

This is best expressed through questing, which is why the majority of the game’s content is solo questing.

And they should be this way.
Why?
Cause people doing hard stuff deserve it.

I don’t do rated PvP cause I know how frustrating and incredibly hard it is. I have never owned war saddle in my life even once in these 19 years of playing WoW. I’m just not suit for it. And I always looking with envy when someone with a war mount runs by. But at the same time my envy isn’t destructive, it leads to me thinking: well if I want to get something like this, I really should get into PvP soon (which never happen).

People in PvP don’t do raids they don’t do anything but PvPing. And they don’t collect things like we PvErs do, so these few incredibly detailed things like armor and mounts (which are VERY EDGY I tell you that) is one thing that they can brag with about their deeds on the frontlines against other insane players like themselves.
It’s like wanting to get a battle scars without going on actual battle and bragging how stronk and fierce you were fighting the house mice.

Shouldnt be a thing if a system is called “alternative for pvpers”

Having to do anything but pvp to get tier used in pvp is bad game design

Disable pve tier or give conquest gear its tier on vendor or make playing pvp give comparable cosmic flux to world content

I enjoy torghast. It was originally thought to have its own rewards. Instead, they removed the rewards and made it compulsory to get legendaries. They took something that could have been fun, removed the reward system and forced it down everyone’s throat. Terrible decisions at every turn.

Got it so I’ll buy a carry to get gud :joy:

:sunflower: :rainbow: :sunflower:

Having to farm gear and raise ilvl also ruins pvp. Everyone should be equal in gear so skill can be tested, but that will never happen.

I agree

But i’ll take farming a honor set into a conquest set any day over having to kill 12 flying bugs in ZM and loot chests for my tier if we need to have a system that goes against any other mmo pvp in existence

EVERY Mythic raid literally consists of one mount that you won’t get in ANY other way but PvE. And again, it is should be like this, cause if not there would be less point to do it and to feel accomplished when you’ve done it.
