waiting 30 mins LFG in the chat is bad but waiting 45mins to 1hour 30 mins in a queue is better?

I wont be. I was on the fence anyways as i don’t have as much time to play. But you’re right, enough people wont unsub over this to make a difference sadly. By the way, people vent on the forums because they love the game. Don’t act like they are being unreasonable, 99% of people expected LFD to be in Wrath classic.

A reasonable response would be to not spam threads that often are trolling or insulting of Blizzard and players that do not wish to have LFD, but sure let’s allow it because they “love the game”.
I don’t care about LFD either way, but for once it’s nice that the people that wanted classic in the first place get a bone thrown their way instead of the mindless whining of people that should look to other games.

being in Q and eventually getting a group is better then the 2hrs i spam LFG before i give up. a small light at the end is still a light.

Weird I don’t remember any QQ at the time in Wotlk when LFD was introduced. It was never a hated system in wotlk.

You are so wrong. Lfd was liked by the majority of the players from the first day they implemented it. I have even not considered trying a new mmo when i found out it did not have a lfd system. The benifits of lfd far far outweigh any negatives.
I will continue to say that lfd had NOTHING to do with the decline of wow up to the current retail. And i challenge anyone that would be willing to go play that garbage that is retail if all they did was remove lfd. Lfd is not a reasin ppl stopped playing wow.

Disingenuous? I think most people know how LFD works and no matter what horror stories you may have to tell…its still better than the alternative.
Whats actually insane to me is that people like you would have their sensibilities offended by other people being upset that they weren’t getting something they wanted for a very long time and had no reason to suspect they wouldn’t get. Let them eat cake…amirite?

I think a part of the reason a lot of people who are for LFD is losing their minds right now is that they equate LFD to instant ques.
What happens when you (not you specifically) que up as a DPS, and the que time is 45 minutes? Sure you can farm mats or whatever, but the only real thing you are getting is not having to scan LFG chat and/or bulletin board - a great feature in my opinion.
I say this because from what I have seen, majority of the people on the forums complain about the amount of time it takes to find a group whereas the minority complains about the way in which you go about forming the group. I would love to see the ‘Blizzard has to fix the LFD que times issue’ posts on these forums if they do go back on their word and bring it to WOTLK.

and then you get into the dungeon and its the last boss and there is no tank because the tanks keep leaving the instance as soon as they see all thats left is the last boss…

Why would the leave the easiest dungeon completion of their life?
I dunno but it happens all the time. There was numerous times I was on my dk tank and queued up got into a heroic where they were stuck on the last boss and after we finished they would thank me saying tanks kept leaving as soon as they got in.
I have legit never seen that, in fact getting in progress groups is always a win in my book.
Maybe they were looking for a legendary, that’s a system problem right now.

Maybe the tanks thought they were going to get locked to the heroic?
That can still happen get a tank that just needs a drop and gets it and drops out then you still have to look for a tank. LFD just made that look time shorter and allowed more casuals to make meaningful progress after work or school not having to spam chat while out herbing and questing you want the game to respect your play time but yall really think yelling in chat every 5 seconds for an hour is content
