If this hasn’t been mentioned before in the 120 messages I didn’t bother to wade through in this thread - you don’t need a Twitter account to read Blizzard CS Twitter announcements.
Just bookmark this url in your browser and you can read Blizzard announcements on your PC.

There is absolutely nothing stopping them from integrating their twitter feed into the website itself.
I honestly thought it was coming when they were redesigning the forums years ago and I’m surprised it’s still not something featured here.
Like an hour of some intern’s time could put their twitter feed right here for us to see.
I do agree that we should be updated here however, you don’t need an account to check their Twitter feed.
They had it integrated prior to moving to the new forums software too 
I don’t think I’ve ever seen the forums go down. If it has, it’s been very rare.
Besides, this is the OFFICIAL WoW website, right?
