Stop Only Posting Issues On Twitter

I have already said it. Blizzard has declared these forums a total lose.

LInks please.
NO skal until then!

I’d believe it. Dont necessarily blame them for not wanting to participate at this point but at the same time this is the community that they’ve created.

Blizzard: “hey guys on forums! We want to discuss about things with the game, post them here”

Forum users: “lul game sucks, fire Ian, fire ghostcrawler, fire the whole Dev team! Grab the pitchforks!”

Blizzard goes silent and uses Twitter or other means of communication

Forum users: “Why aren’t they responding to us? Why are blues ignoring us?”

Well if it’s a ISP problem, why would it concern anybody else who’s not in your part of the world? Why would it need to be reported on these forums by Blizzard?

I don’t see the point of this thread here. Especially when it’s not a direct Blizzard issue…you know.

Why would you need to know the answer to that question?

It sounds like you do 'do twitface.'

Yes.

Which way is better than the way that you’re going if you’re unable to go another way to compare ways? In other words, how do you know this way from…

that way?

Another way to put it would be…

witch way is your way?

Fearful manchildren afraid of their own customers.

…sand I’m certain Twitter and all the rest are just perfect little angels of fluffy sweetness.
.saec off.

If you serious think that is how every post and thread reads, then making stories you are.

IF blizzard thinks forums are no good, then why they are still here?

Skäl.

They failed to nurture their community in a direction that is respectful and decent. Look at FFXIV’s community in comparison to WoW.

That’s why I say they only have themselves to blame for the community they now avoid but I understand why they’ve just detached themselves entirely now.

Lore literally had a breakdown on Twitter because of all the people that were harassing him there. Try again.

No I don’t know. Are you serious? Really? Are you? Because I simply cannot take you seriously. This is a problem for both Blizzard, and Fios because for Blizzard, it means a lot of frustrated and angry players who cannot play the game, and for Fios because they are likely the cause of the issue.

As a company it is Blizzard’s responsibility to keep their paying customers informed of when there is an issue keeping a good portion of their playerbase from playing the game. I am sure a LOT of us use Fios as internet access. So that means a LOT of us currently cannot play the game.

Please stop being so close minded.

If that were true they’d

  1. Quit their jobs (or start earning your paychecks you cowards)!

  2. Stop browsing the forums and reddit for free ideas

  3. Stop putting up these cherrypicking AMA and twitch stream facades

They’re still very much trying for their own selfish sakes.

Largely, if you couldn’t answer what your favorite IDE was within 3 seconds you were fired in Blizzard’s last layoff. We have what, 1 CM now? Guy posts maybe once every three months, I don’t even understand what his job role is.

They need to stop doing this IMO, GD’s ideas are genuinely terrible

This is true and incredibly annoying. Those AMAs are largely pointless, the hard-hitting questions are intentionally avoided every time.

Post on a subforum to 200 or so people or post on Twitter to literally billions of people?

Hmm, which one gets the message out to more people? Is 200 greater or fewer than billions?

As Chief Executive Officer at ACTIVISION BLIZZARD INC, Robert A. Kotick made $30,841,004 in total compensation. Of this total $1,756,731 was received as a salary, $2,461,848 was received as a bonus, $19,037,673 was received in stock options, $7,495,745 was awarded as stock and $89,007 came from other types of compensation. This information is according to proxy statements filed for the 2018 fiscal year.

Depends: how many are subscribers?

I’ve been through this with companies i’ve worked for already and im only in my mid-20s.

Bring in some ‘scrappy’ senior executive level official to clean house, take all the blame, get a massive payout, and then shuffle right back out the door.

Kotick for some reason seems to have staying power, to the detriment of us all.

INSUFFICIENT DATA FOR MEANINGFUL ANSWER.

If you look at the GD stickies, they are supposed to link important updates from twitter, but it hasnt had anything for awhile.

If a question is asked in CS about login issues the blues there are usually good about trying to address it. I have seen it many times.

Statistically speaking, there’s a greater chance to reach more subscribers on Twitter than the subforum.
