It only makes sense, and it’s what I do, if you don’t see me posting I’m either playing or not paying.
Except that one weird time I was able to post for like 4 months after my sub lapsed, when I pretended I was still subbed because I still enjoyed the forums.
They have a habit of fixing the game so I come back. This time one thing they have unequivocally done right is flight, I got it on my first character in a few nights of playing and it has made zones such as bastion that are total trash on the ground beautiful and serene to navigate through the sky.
They listened when I never did a pathfinder. It isn’t about me though it’s all the people who also never did pathfinders, and just put up with the game being more annoying. We did fewer wqs and messed up the metrics. Good. I enjoy wqs now because I can fly to them, same with the anima conductor, all that is more expedient with flying. It’s something I didn’t know I wanted back, they gave it back, so here I am.
(Would probably be here regardless but it is making the game seriously better right now)
Sure shes not really a decent human being, yet represented, albeit as a monstrosity (I do get a chuckle out of that lol), in-game. If thats the rep they want to go with then I’m happy not giving them unnecessary money.

I found out in life that persons who come up with the worst non sequitur nonsense usually arent listening to logic and reason…so I prefer to let them wallow in their own ignorance than waste an hour taking them up on pointless challenges.

Been telling everyone I know IRL to stay away.
Pretty sure I turned off about 10 people to WoW.

Doesn’t work like that. Your continued need to play the game is putting $20 in Blizzard’s pockets, giving them zero financial incentive to make the changes you want.

This. It’s MY money that pays for my subscription and WoW Tokens, I worked hard to earn that money at my job, and I will spend MY money however I see fit. If someone wants to unsub for a particular reason that’s fine, they can do what they want with THEIR money just like I can do whatever I want with MY money.
Do what you gotta do. If you’re honestly not having a good time, feel free to unsub.
From what I’ve seen on this forum though, most of the complaining is hot air. 90+% of the forum-whiners complain and then turn around and say “Yeah, well, I’m not going to unsub because I have fun playing with my friends” and I just think to myself… yeah, so you’re having fun with the game, stop using rhetoric pretending you’ve quit. It’s even more laughable when you have people whose “6-month sub is about to expire” but they’ve been around the forum for years in a perpetual state of supposedly having their sub run out.
If you’re voting with your wallet, I can respect that, but the toothless whining is childish in my opinion. I didn’t like BFA so I just didn’t play it - you guys can do the same with Shadowlands if you ACTUALLY don’t like it (but you do like it).

Every time I see some freaks crying crocodile tears about Madeline Roux, I can’t help but laugh and cheer.
I loved Shadows Rising - it was the best WoW book in years. And I love how she gets the Alt Right Incel Gamer crowd to act like their panties are in a twist.
She certainly belongs in Maldraxxus, the way she wars with the online troglodytes.

When you cancel your sub you can still post until your sub expires. That is what I did.

I’ve got 14 days left. I’m not going to pretend like I’m disgusted with the game itself over what humans did on their own.
I’m going to gather whatever last bits of gold I can and finish up whatever easy mounts I still lack and let the account sit until new content or new expansion depending on mood
