Stop giving them $$

You show’em Justen but since I’m happy with wow I’ll continue to give them money

Please don’t tell me what to do nor how to spend MY money. How about practice what you preach and move on then instead of trolling the forums? It is okay to move on.

Its a “yeah… No”

I make that exact expression all the time

I protest by giving them more money.

To show that the 1% don’t ruin everything for the 99%.

I disagree.

What she did is exude toxicity and there’s no excuse for it.

Also, no, I am not a “troglodyte” that her comments were aimed at, I am a woman just like her.

Edit: No, I am not ending it with that.

Misandry is no more acceptable than misogyny.
Instead of Blizzard standing up for their PAYING customers they proceeded to create an effigy in the game paying tribute to this toxic individual. They were making a “statement” of support.

It’s disgusting and I don’t blame the “troglodytes” for being offended or upset by it. They should be. Especially after Bliz chose to pile on that bandwagon. That NPC should be pvp flagged so that people like me can camp it continuously.

No, you didn’t.

As multiple Blizzard developers have stated, doing what you did doesn’t help them. Because when Blizzard starts to lose money to the point where they have to make changes to the company to compensate, the first people to go will be the victims and anyone making a fuss over the lawsuit. Then other parts of the company will be downsized, including customer support, both in the form of GMs in-game and CMs on the forums.

Ultimately WoW will be a worse product, and most of us here don’t want that. We want WoW to get better.

If you don’t feel like playing? That’s fine. Good for you. But don’t pressure anyone else to quit or not play.

No, but they’re taking the right road with Overwatch and removing any names that are linked to real people. They should do the same for WoW. Unless it’s those Make A Wish tributes, of course.

Oh they’re already doing that with WoW as well. No changes have been made yet but the list of changes that will be happening include the following removals/replacements:

Mac’Aree (A City on Argus)
Jesseriah McCree
Jessup McCree
Marshal McCree
Jenny McCree
Jessera of Mac’Aree
Crafticus Mindbender
Torturer LeCraft
Johnathan Le Karf
Senior Scrivener Barriga

More like “if you want WoW to shut down its servers then stop giving them money.”

Don’t act like Blizzard employees are gonna bootstraps themselves back to having a good work ethic. They will legitimately allow all your childhood dreams and memories die if it’s no longer lucrative to milk Blizzard’s biggest cash cow.

Ok good, but they shouldn’t do it just when something happens, just remove ALL of them. It gets too tiring to keep seeing stuff happen and people getting cancelled… its better just to ‘cancel’ everything.
…what a world we live in.

Well they’ve already stated that no more NPCs will be named after employees, so that’s not going to be an issue in the future. I think removing all references though isn’t necessary, especially if the people referenced haven’t done anything wrong.

And neither should you. If you leave the game and go to, let’s say, ESO, just forget about WoW and have fun elsewhere. No need to stick your nose in everyones business.

But I have all these mounts I spent years getting… if I quit it was all for nothing. Can I take them all with me to Diablo?

??

Go back under whatever bridge you crawled out from under. None of what you just said makes sense.

How do you figure?

If one leaves the game, why should you care about it anymore? Just learn to let go, and if your addicted, get counseling.

That sounds like something Sylvanas would say if she were a minion of the Politically Correct Cosmology, instead of a minion of Death.

“Cancel it. CANCEL IT!”

As much as I don’t like her , Carhagen isn’t wrong .

What she said was on Twitter and not in here or the game so what she said can not be called a violation of Warcraft policy because she didn’t do it on Blizzard media . Another thing is do you think they are going to get rid of a female npc with what is going on at this time . (other then maybe Sylvanas)

If you dislike it then sure.
But if people like parts of it… Heck even the abk group that’s protesting said unsubbing wont change or help.

Telling people what to do never helps.

Swifty didn’t do anything in game either but they removed his NPC

So there’s that.

And they removed it …
Swiftly. :joy:
