Stop gating allied races behind reps

a lot of people complain they don’t have a reason to go to older content areas. seems like blizzard is listening and giving people a reason to do just that. at least for those that enjoy allied races.

What does that have to do with any of this? Your opinion doesn’t matter here. What you have been saying is that the Zandalari Model is the same. It’s not. Those old models don’t even support gear.

Level 20 is an hour of gameplay. Everyone gets all their mounts at 20. even lvl 1 if you got the heirloom.

i made a tauren hunter (that i’ve since deleted) and it took me 5 hours to get him to level 20. :expressionless:

Actually it doesn’t seem like they want them to do that since they gate it behind a max level rep grind for no reason other than play time metrics.

they also increased rep gain. if that wasn’t just a buzz word people like to throw around trying to insult blizzard, they wouldn’t have increased the rep gain at all.

Do the quests.

i don’t know what you’re doing, but with heirlooms and just spamming randoms dungeons after hitting 15 from the starting area, i’ve hit 42 in 3 hours in real time.

yeah, that’s the difference. when i used to lvl my alts, you get in that mindset and don’t* get up from the chair or do anything else but spam, hah. i’m getting too old to do that now. =]

I personally feel like revered should be enough.

I’m not saying that because I’m lazy or I feel things should be handed to you.

But my grind to unlock void elves was long. It would have been shorter if I’d maybe stuck to it, but I got bored doing my stupid WQ dailies, unsubbed, came back a few months later, did a few more, left again. And that 75 rep points per WQ for argussian reach? GIve me a break.

I dont’ even mind exalted rep, but why is earning it timegated? Why can’t WQ’s refresh more often?

Blizzard, instead of time gating everything thinking it makes us subscribe longer: Make a game that’s fun, exciting, immersive, enjoyable, and amazing. We’ll sub way longer and enjoy it much more than boring daily tasks and a game that’s really feeling like a chore half the time.

Oh, you mean aside from the slightly upgraded textures and new player animations? 6 months btw

Because time played metric is the new measuring standard.

Sure seams like your Opinion doesn’t matter.

Well they told me to leave feedback and im gonna leave it alright.

As well you should but the devs have already said the rep grinds are here to stay no matter what the customer does. Its sad.

My opinion? I’m sorry, but this conversation isn’t a matter of opinion.

Yeah you aren’t picking up on what I’ve been telling you, again, the Zandalari player model is an entirely new model.

Well I would hope they reconsider.

Imagine TBC if Blizzard had done this back then.

Instead we got:

  1. Log in
  2. Choose race
  3. Level new toon

Hard to comprehend that people think this new way is better, simply because they bestow 20 of the easiest levels on you and give you a mount you’ll use for a bit and then add it to the stable of 100s of others.

You know what was cool? Adding a race and then using those 20 levels to flesh out the race history and lore.

Everyone doesn’t hate BfA. Also how do you know what every new/returning player thinks or wants ? I am not extremely interested in these allied races so I find it hard to believe someone would actually start to play for that reason. That is why is silly to try and speak for others.
