timers aren’t an issue in 15s unless your group is awful. play better and you won’t have to be sweaty

If doing a dungeon in 40 minutes is a speedrun im afraid its a skill issue of the part of the player.
WoW has been cheapened and made more and more accessible over the years to the point that it’s becoming unrecognizable.
This is a lie. I’ve had a lot of keys fail while playing like this. There’s a baseline of how much dps and time you can spend in each area in a 15. The amount of gaslighting in this thread is sad and I hope DF kills the game for good.
If you are failing +15 keys its because the group is bad or undergeared. Get more gear, or get better.
I hope whatever you enjoy is also killed off.
I like speed runs. I don’t get bored to death. Waiting 5 mins per pull will make me wanna fall asleep.

Nobody wants to struggle in 15s. You’re probably a terrible player if you want the timer gone.
If you’re constantly getting demolished in 15s, it’s time to improve. That’s the hint.
I did a nightmare 16 the other day, the other 2 dps and the tank did 9k overall each. We had plenty of time at the end. I did 20k overall because the tank did small pulls. Averaging, it’s about 13k dps overall for all 3 dps, with the tank doing 9k. The DPS requirements for 15s is ridiculously low.
Anything you can do in real life is infinitely more difficult than video games. Even in your example of basketball, it isn’t the same as playing a basketball video game. Having an impoverished life where you struggle to survive every day, no video game has anything analogous to that experience. Overcoming challenges in video games are easier than challenges in real life by design.
Monopolies are the end result of capitalism. There’s no need to “play fair” in capitalism. If you can take an advantage, you do. You capitalize on it.
Hold on JBP. When you only have a hammer you see nails everywhere. I just think the timer is stupid. This isn’t Diablo 3, it was never designed to be, and Legion’s random legendary drops proved that you can’t just port ideas from Diablo 3 all willy-nilly.
This isn’t even tangential to the point. No one was saying there’s any monopoly on keys. I was just implying that monopoly is a bad example because it’s kind of criticizing this competitive nature.
That sounds fine, they can rebalance it then. M+ is pretty degenerate game design copy+pasted from Diablo 3 that is fun in Diablo 3.
We’re not playing basketball. We’re playing WoW. Dribbling, passing, and shooting are the basics of the game. This is pressing your abilities and such. M+ is when you encourage degenerate gogogo culture, focusing less on the game and more on smashing all of your AOE buttons while DBM honks at you and flashes on your screen.
Just because something is in the game now, doesn’t mean that is the best version of it.

Hilarious how people who know how to cooperate and coordinate in a timely fashion and use all of their class/role toolkit efficiently and effectively – sometimes in non-traditional ways – are suddenly “no life sweatlords”. Right, guess I should go call all the people who make 150K+ brownnosers and suckups or some other degrading term just because I’m not them?
You do realize there are communities of people who just do M+ at whatever pace they want? In fact so many of them complain here about the timer that surely you all can meet up and just hide the timer.
Especially with no valor cap.
I’m honestly really curious about precisely how fast you think is “too” fast. Like, 1 pull, kill, and then… wait around? I dunno. I time runs where the tank only pulls one pack at a time. Pretty sure all of the dungeons are set up for that. If you are doing the same, and you cannot time the dungeon, then your throughput dps is not enough. It shouldn’t take your group more than like 1-2 minutes to kill a pack.
Sure, if you want to beat the timer by a lot… yes, you will need to get creative.
Sounds about right. Even when S4 was new, 15s were very low to pass. I could hop into a 15 gambit in one of my 50-60 runs I attempted in a week to get a friggin weapon. We’d have like 20+ deaths before the first boss. Still time it.
The bar for getting 15s done this season has basically been “do you have a pulse, and can you do more than auto attack”.
Why bother playing at all? Pathetic.
Sure they are. Removing the M+ timer is a rallying cry for bad players who want an easy out.
Timers are fine. Practice. Effort. This is an MMO. Those sorts of things are pretty much required in the genre.
It’s optional.
