For over 16 years Women and LGBT warlock players have had to put up with the frankly quite offensive discrimination of only being able to summon a Succubus, the overly sexualised female demon.
It’s unacceptable after all this time to not add the male version (an Incubus) into the game. By only sexualising the female demon Blizzard are being misogynistic and telling LGBT players that the only acceptable option is a female demon.
Fantasy video games are not real life stop treating it as if they are. If you’d like to make your own game with whatever creatures in it you fancy feel free and I wish you luck.
That being said, I hope to God you’re trolling because turning a non-human fictional video game character into a perceived representation of misogyny is hilarious if ironic. If not, get some help.
Succubus is had for men mmkay. So how is having something detrimental for men considered patriarchy?
Throughout the history of mankind and even in mythology, women have always been the seductive types. Cant blame blizzard for following history and using research and reason in their games.
There’s a lore reasoning for this, and you’re acting silly over something so small. Relax. All the incubi were killed a long time ago. It’s not sexist, nor discrimination that a lore reason made over 10-15 years ago is maintained. It’s fine.
