Sorry, it’s inherent to their playstyle. Nobody likes to fight them. If you play the class, you have to know at least that.

I don’t mind facing them too much really. I pop them like a balloon with my chaos bolts. I got a little salty today because a rogue opened on me in a BG and literally all of my answers were on CD. Emblem, Dark Pact, UR, Infernal, Shadowfury, Mortal Coil… ALL of them were on CD. Felt so bad and naked.

So, if we don’t have trinket up, were just supposed to be getting 100-0 within 3 seconds as class design? Sounds fair. Hate to break to ya but rogues are headed for more nerfs considering they are still globaling entire health bars within a cheap shot opener.
How am I suppose to trinket a kidney shot when I HAVE to use trinket during a cheap shot opener because if I don’t I’ll die?
Your class is busted. And if you need to rely on it being busted to do well or to have fun, you’re kinda garbage

It used to be I could Trinket get a couple smacks on them and they would “Bleed” Preventing them from constantly resetting the fight.

OP isn’t even wrong.
If a rogue comes out of stealth and uses every cooldown they have and you aren’t willing to trade 1 cooldown (being trinket) then you deserve to die in the opener.
what sentient being holds their trinket in the face of full cooldowns and thinks its ridiculous they cant sit and save it.

Id say they are still a little over-tuned. when i start seeing assassin and combat rogues in rated regularly then the OPs statement would likely have merit. because blizzard isnt nerfing all rogues they are only nerfing one spec. if everyone is attributing all rogues to that one spec…then their is indeed an imbalance.

Yes, there is an imbalance. The imbalance is that the other 2 specs suck so bad that they are unplayable to anybody that cares about doing their best at any facet of the game. Outlaw is slightly under sub in PvE and is basically unplayable in PvP. Assassination is an absolutely unplayable disaster and probably the worst spec in the game right now. The other 2 specs being trash tier does not mean sub rogues are overpowered. It means sub rogues are the only option and if they are further nerfed then people that only play rogues will have no way to be useful and enjoy their class.
I have a couple other classes so if they get nerfed pretty hard again I’ll just switch, but some people only want to play rogues and making them useless in all 3 specs is obviously a terrible idea. Look at how rogues fare right now for PvE content (raids, primarily). What do you think is going to happen if their damage gets nerfed any further?

People hate rogues, bro. And to be honest i’m not fond of them either. Nobody likes to not have a chance to fight, it’s just nature. It’s what you signed up for picking the class.
Been that way since classic.

Yeah I get the hate. I hate them too. I’ve usually had one as an alt but decided to play it as a main this xpac and fortunately they ended up being good. But now they are nerfed back into reality and people still spend all day throwing a fit about them on here just because they hate the class. It’s funny. They ARE fun to play though.
It’s different …I got so sick of getting killed by Sin Rogues in BFA that I made one and leveled to max . But I never really liked the sneaking around in stealth play style . Though destroying people out of stealth was pretty fun.
