It was already stated above by one of your fellow LFD proponents that blizzard implemented battlegrounds at the beginning of SoM and it completely changed the gearing meta. Implementing LFD at the beginning would do the exact same… which runs counter to you wanting to “play wrath as it was”.
So people can see the story. Just because the story ended doesn’t mean the game itself was over.
