I just got an alt from 76 to 80 in about 6’ish hours and only won about 20% of the games.
I am thinking long term, but it doesn’t mean I enjoy getting my teeth kicked into the curb repeatedly to get something I want.

some PVEer was screaming at me for doing this today. What does it matter when you can pull the boss with 2-3 npcs still alive?

Also it’s not back capping. It’s called defending or just capping. Back capping is going behind enemy lines to cap a base. Everyone has been playing AV wrong for so long they think dun balder is horde territory and capping frostwolf is going behind enemy lines.

I play horde and alliance. My suggestion is don’t back cap, end games fast. I don’t care when the opposite side wins if the games are 10 mins or less because with heirlooms I get 200k a loss or 240k a win.
Not my fault blizzard designed AV weekend to be the best leveling in the game. If you want to enjoy PvP, do another BG. AV on AV weekend is for power leveling.

Theyre the same classic andys that repeatedly post anti-rdf rhetoric around the clock on these forums. They cant stand people having fun, playing their own way, or getting ahead so theyre actively sabotaging games to screw the community over in an attempt to force everyone to play a long boring drawn out match like they used to in 2006. The same community they claim ‘muh socialization’ over. By ‘muh socialization’ what they really mean is they just want to grief everyone.

Here’s how to play AV:
Play AV as normal → wait for horde to inevitably force a 30 minute turtle → wait just a moment if your team might destroy one tower before the turtle takes hold → afk out → switch to other alt → repeat
I do this while playing AV on two at a time and just swap alts as needed.

Imagine being so hard headed that you think extending games to 20-30 minutes so you can get 20-40k more exp is better than taking 200k in 9 mins on a loss.
Most of the time I see horde lose the rush meta is because they send back defenders and lose those fights.
I’ve lost the last 4 games in a row sub 10 mins on my alliance toon. 200k exp each. Perfectly happy with 1.2m exp an hour on a loss. 90% of the BG is watching netflix on their second monitor anyway.
What’s actually pathetic is you feeling the need to ruin the majority of people’s experience when you have other options for PvP.
There are currently zero other options for fast, queued, TP to place leveling. If RDF existed, maybe I’d entertain you, but at this point you’re just a troll.

You have serious issues with delusion.
Back capping is how you win 100% of the games though.
Alliance should be sending everyone south except 5ish ppl to retake SHB and IWB.
The problem is what should be ~ 35 running south it’s like 15… and they sit on that dumb hill and do nothing.
Horde win the base race game 100% of the time. It’s not physically possible to be faster than them with no back capping
Their towers fall about 25 seconds faster than alliance… 25 seconds feels like eternity as they win every game.
Horde kept losing the tower race by like 10 seconds and then losing the game by seconds. So 2 of us started defending a frostwolf tower and stalling the cap for like 20 seconds and won the tower race and killed van first and got wins
