Seriously. Dear everyone, stop doing it. AV weekend is the best EXP in the game for so little effort. Games are 10m and net you between 200-250k exp. The difference in exp on win/loss is almost nothing as long as you cap towers.
Stop backcapping. Keep games fast so we can all level quick n easy for christmas.
Thanks.

Maybe for Alliance.
I’m only seeing between 140k and 180k for all the losses.
For the few I’ve won it’s barely broken 220k.

I can and will backcap whenever possible.

That’s still great exp at 10m per game. If you backcap you get to extend the games by 20-30 minutes and you get what 20k more? It’s not worth it for anyone involved.

Not saying it isn’t good exp.
But losing isn’t exactly “fun” either and back capping at least shows effort in trying not to lose repeatedly.
Annoying though? Sure.
But you’re playing on the winning faction and so it’s easier to have your perspective than someone who plays on the losing side.

I’ve leveled in AV on both factions. I literally don’t care about winning or losing. AV isn’t fun either way to me. I do it because it’s the easiest/fastest way to level outside spending 10k afk boosting in dungeons.
Why are you increasing the time you have to spend leveling in AV by backcapping?

I love pouncing on the Level 71 who’s all alone and rides past our uncapped Frostwolf GY and aggros the guards.

No.
I will cap anything that’s not under our control. I will do every objective along the way. I will do my best to summon big meany every time.
I must do all the things.

I do everything in my power to never let horde win and I will grief them all day.

I wasn’t aware the World of Wacraft universe revolves around you and your likes.
I’m fairly certain I answered this in the post you’re posing this question toward.

Since TBCC launch, and doubly so since the removal of marks, I honestly don’t even notice “win” or “loss” in AV anymore.

I personally don’t like losing over and over. Even if I’m still gaining something out of it. I’d much prefer to get the endorphins going knowing I’m at least doing something other than pounding my head on a metaphorical wall repeatedly.
I’ll keep on doing it, but the point stands in why I (and others) back cap. Which is to at least give a glimmer of hope in being somewhat productive.

You say this but your suggestion gets your side more wins than the enemy side.

I wasnt not in these AVs, but I guess I should be now. Me and the homies make our stand at Galv and it ends on the bridge as the Alliance go afk to talk about turtles on the forums.

Just think long term. It’s a win long term if you’re efficient.
