Sop asking what comes next. Blizz Con will be the next time there is an announcement
An announcement about what?
Oh, did I ask a question?
ok lets stop asking because creant told us to
To be fair, Blizzard put themselves in a situation here with MoP classic.
What comes after MoP is WoD, WoD is considered one of the worst expansions in WoW’s history so the question gets brought up for the future of the classic 2019 progression servers is that will it progress into WoD or will it stop at MoP (essentially MoP era)?
Blizzcon or not, The question is still going to get asked, some people would like to know the future of the Classic 2019 progression server line, if we get WoD and then Legion, the same question is going to get brought up again in Legion (2 back to back bad expansions after Legion). Personally if WoD happens, only time I would be playing WoD is if Gold table missions are still a thing in WoD classic but thats the only thing I would be doing (I only use gold for game time).
I bet in overwhelming hype for shadowlands classic.
No, you sop asking!
Yeah, and sop trying to tell me what to do!
The thing is though if they made it an era server I think less people would play mop era than they would wod. So essentially if they don’t do wod then they will lose more subscribers. Only blizzard would know if it’s worth doing wod in terms of money coming in then leaving it an era server.
WOD is not one.of the worst. It is the worst.
Personal opinion but Shadowlands is the worst WoW expansion of all time, nothing will come close to Shadowlands, including WoD.
That is not the question asked for “MoP Era”. It is not about if “MoP Era” has more players or not. They simply don’t close the servers because people will go mad if they delete their chars in some ways. MoP (no updates) will just continue going on and if anniversary hits MoP at some point (it will), they can put anniversary chars there too. Sort of dumpster of Classic.
What has to be asked is - is the development time and money they put lower than the few hundreds that are willing to play WoD - probably not, no. I keep saying this in literally every post and people don’t understand this, from MoP onwards the game gets very complicated code-wise, every single WoD boss have more scripted mechanics than all of AQ. For some reason people believe Blizzard just takes their old server, press turn on and release Classic like that.
I’m with you here - Shadowlands is the worst, but WoD is easily second place.
Shadowlands actually damaged the franchise with terrible lore and design decisions while WoD was just a bad expansion where you didn’t do anything for 80% of the time.
However, keep in mind, many people here quit somewhere around WoD, or Legion, so they don’t know anything after that and for them WoD is the worst.
probably because people don’t really care about what you have to say. Just a hunch. You like to argue a lot and try to claim dominance and exhibit your know-it-all personality. You’re extremely arrogant. No thanks.
Well because I have been right all along?
I know it hurts to see that
I will sop asking when Blizzard sops the silent treatment. Since Blizzard is giving no indication of sopping their lack of communication, I cannot see the players sopping their asking.
This is a seasonal, time-based game predicated on managing schedules and investing one’s own personal, precious time.
By not being forthcoming with plans about how expansions are being rolled out, they’re just misleading players and shaping the target audiences to play whatever the company puts out by consuming the content on a first-come first-served basis; thus, wasting the time and money and energy of those demographics that don’t fit into their target audiences.
For example…
I haven’t even bought the 60% riding skill and mount in Anniversary; nor, do I feel like getting around to it…
What’s the point of investing into TBC-A if it’s just going to get destroyed at the end of its phase cycles anyways?
