Stop. allowing. ve'nari camping

Except in instances where it can be considered zone disruption. I know the qualifications for such are vague but they’ve tried to clamp down on the massive groups blocking access to areas before.

Well yeah but I am willing to bet that they don’t consider this zone disruption. Blizz knows how WM is and I would imagine they knew this was going to happen and they still let it go live, so they must not see a problem with it.

Thats not the complaint though, the complaint is that its a mandatory zone to quest in, with a severe bottleneck thats ripe for camping. It would be like if the heart chamber area is silithus was not a sanctuary, so that whenever players landed, or tried to run to the portal, they get bodied by the opposing faction. Its not really a case of “pvp happened” its just a badly designed area. Push the sanctuary zone to the portal area and the problem is solved.

How is it not zone disruption? Players can’t access a mandatory zone due to camping the specific spawn location.

Yep. In all the years that I’ve played MMOs, wpvp has been nothing more than a gank and grief fest for sycophants. If you want pvp that’s more fair, que for battlegrounds.

Well you will have to take that up with Blizz lol. Also they can access it, just not in WPVP mode.

I’d argue that battlegrounds are actually more unfair more often than not.

Build a raid team to counter it. This is alliance endgame since they can’t compete in the world first raid.

I honestly don’t care, the 10% isn’t enough for me to care about vs not being able to play on my limited time - queue times (Thanks A52), but I can see the design flaws in the area clearly.

What I dont understand is that they had the problem solved in BFA in silithus but not here.

To be honest I don’t care that much about it either lol. The only thing that bothers me is that there is a solution for people and that is to turn off WM. As much as a person dies in WPVP the bonus isn’t really worth it.

Turning off WM doesn’t fix the issue though. WM being effective and workable for 95% of the zones but an issue with just this area would mean its the area that’s the issue, not the mode.

But the only thing is if people turn off WM they don’t have that issue even in that area.

And lets be honest here, those players complaining about that area are going to complain about the next place that becomes the zerg fest or lag zone.

I feel if you didn’t have to go back to the capital to turn it on, that wouldn’t be an issue. If I liked wpvp enough to keep wm on, I now have to turn it off, run 10ft to the portal, port to org, turn it on, port back and go on just because of a badly designed area.

Yeah I think you are probably right about that. It would be better to be able to turn it on in other places also.

I actually love PVP and WPVP but on this new account I am playing on a crappy comp and the lag sucks for it so I leave it off.

I turn off warmode in Dark souls as well :zipper_mouth_face:

The abuse would be insane otherwise.

How many darkshore gankers would turn off warmode on a counterattack and then just turn it back on at will?

How about this portal thing. The alliance could just rush inside the safezone. Have a dance party till a horde counterattack left or got disorganized and then the alliance could flip it back on and go

Turn off warmode and stop whining.

I didnt say allow it to be turned off/on anywhere. If you could turn it back on in Oribos or any place that has access to trade chat, youd be fine. Its just a pain to go back and forth from org if you want a painless trip to the maw.

Being able to turn it on in Trade zones would be fair, although I don’t know why being able to turn it on in any sanctuary would be a problem.

No one does lol, its just an arbitrary rule set in place that doesn’t make sense, unless there’s a technical reason as to phasing into zones or the like.
