I always have wm on alliance or horde. And eventhough DHs get eaten alive since our recent nerfs but idc.
Only time I turn it off is when I wanna do dailies in the maw and there is 40 ppl farming kills for the AAO quest. Because thats the only reason they are there just go to group finder on alliance and go look yourself.
turn off war mode, you aren’t entitled to anything.
And no one is entitled to ez mode kills either; I don’t care what your faction is. If you want easy kills go out and find them.
I’m unironically not up to date on what’s happened with DHs or class balance, but good job on Blizz if they now require you to have more than half of a brain cell to play a DH.
Also it doesn’t matter the reason why people are signing up to do warmode, Horde players are doing the same thing. They’re signing up for that bonus too lol.
It’s no one else’s problem but yours if you decide not to turn it on, if you can’t handle wpvp, that’s just you, and everyone else who had no incentive to turn it on.

Nah, DH are still surviving in 1v1. The self heals and mobility make it almost impossible for an evenly matched non-DH melee to keep up.
And it’s not the PvP that people are complaining about, it’s the death squad surrounding the only entrance into the Maw, although I suppose some people would call that PvP if they’re no good at it.
Blizzard has done as much as they can to fix pvp servers and that is to make it opt in. I hated pvp servers because of the very reason that you are describing here and I haven’t turned on WM at all. There is a solution to your problem but you refuse to take it. It’s on you, my friend!

What’s funnier is one-shotting people with the Mawsworn crossbows. Maybe people should go try stuff like that instead.
Can at least get some personal enjoyment out of the crossbow. To me, camping the portal and calling it PvP is like calling someone who slaughters cows a hunter.

WM is WPVP and Blizz stance has always been that there are no rules in WPVP.
Once you hit that WM on button for the bonus you accept everything that comes with WM. I know that it gets repeated ad nauseam but turning off WM takes care of any problems people have with it.
The crap-storms that Blizz set up for themselves sometimes are unbelievable lol.
I swapped to PvE after the Isle of Quel’danas in BC. The maw would just be a farming ground compared to the Isle lol.
