It’s because the only way Alliance COULD get anything done in WM is in a raid. Horde are like 10:1 in most shards these days.

This Hordie likes all the WM benefits, but when it comes time to pay the tax, he comes crying rather than just turn it off.

Don’t really know a realistic solution other than making the % shard specific. As is, it’s problematic.

I don’t see them removing the participation perks.

The only practical solution is to either form a raid or turn WM off, but that’s not an excuse for lack of improvement.

There’s a button to turn Warmode off problem solved.

They are doing nothing wrong.

100% disagree. You can’t remove an entire players experience by taking away PvP servers and give a watered down experience with no compensation. There should be a reward for playing in WM.

Yeah there needs to be sheep for the wolves or it isn’t fun for anybody. No one will turn WM on if there isn’t some benefit for them to do so.

Then the rewards should be PvP related. It’s unreasonable for there to be PvE bonuses for completing objectives and then when people can’t get to them they get told to turn WM off.

Haven’t got up to 60 yet, are there any PvP world quests this time around?

Report it to the GMs. Keep pressing the fact that this is disrupting the zone. They’ve actioned folks who do this type of stuff before, no matter what the naysayers on the forums claim.

Its risk vs reward. You have a risk to get ganked but in return you get more XP and rewards from quests and if anything it needs more rewards.

It’s was unreasonable for pvp servers to be taken away from pvp players because pve players consistently rollled on them then complained when they were killed in pvp on a pvp server then told to “go to a pve server”

The circle has made a full loop

Sheep for the wolves? It’s a conscious decision to turn on warmode. Anyone that complains about any kind of imbalance has more than likely never been on a PvP server.

I disagree because this is the exchange for removing PvP servers. Which is something that I enjoyed and had an entire server dedicated to both RP and PVP which is now heavily splintered because players liked to complain about the imbalance.

For me, I’m aware this is a selfish take. But I hold no sympathy for players hampering on my experience with the removal of PvP servers. If players can’t handle warmode, then turn it off.

There actually are! I haven’t gotten to them yet since I’ve been focusing more on getting things done quickly so I can finish up my semester and graduate.

Yooooooo exciting! Good job :D!

Thanks! I don’t want to hear the word “homework” for the next 5 years. They can call it anything else I don’t even care…

This might be fine to you, but I’m not typically a vengeful person when it comes to crappy design; like when people said Blizz shouldn’t remove the Pathfinder requirement to fly in old content just because they had to do it. There are ways to allow people to get away from the entrance without making WM less equitable. I don’t support the idea of effectively blockading a whole zone, and from past actions by Blizz it seems they likely don’t either.

The reward for playing in WM should be playing in WM. Just as the reward for playing on a PvP server was playing on a PvP server. There were no additional bonuses for just playing on a PvP server, nor should there be such in WM.

Turn off war mode.

Steamrolling their opponents in massive zergs while getting a huge bonus to everything.

Its clear you have no interest in pvp if pvp is happening and you’re upset. If people in wm loved pvp as much as you say, they’d be forming counter raids.
