Except I’m not advocating that WM be disabled in the Maw, I’m suggesting ways to not be required to bring a raid just to get past the portal and actually do anything other than PvP. There are plenty of other means of endless PvP.
So you want blizzard to fix a pvp problem that can already be solved with a pvp solution?

Okay, let just say; for S&Gs - they (Bliz Devs) take to heart and open up another entrance. What will your complaint/suggestion be when now you have two entrances getting camped? Request they open up another one and another one after that?
I’ve always wondered what was up with Duskwood camping. I understood it during the scourge event since the alliance all got routed there.
The only handicapped thing around here is the thought of WM bonus giving you a meaningful edge on player power.

If they connect the refuge with the already existing portal network it would be an improvement. They can make it an upgrade even.

May or may not solve the OP’s problem, but it certainly won’t be good for the health of the game. What the OP described is definitely in griefing territory. Just like camping low level players is. Not that I think Blizzard will do anything about that, since they haven’t done so with any other griefers.
I wonder what Venari thinks of all the world pvp going on just outside her hideout drawing the attention of the jailer to her location, LOL.

Besides both horde and alliance have been making raid groups to fight off each other’s forces, honestly the most fun I’ve had in world pvp in awhile
And the skeletons leaking soul auras are just aesthetically pleasing

I agree that Ven’Nari should be a sanctuary zone but if you want to get something done fast and quick then turn WM off lol

They really should have 2 entrances. A handful of players shouldnt be able to hard camp the entrance like that. And its really hard to call in reinforcements like the old days with sharding and how splintered servers are.
This kind of stuff happened back in the day, you could call people in. Right now you just suck it up.

Oh it goes back way further than that. Part of the fun of leveling through duskwood with WM on would be trying to get between raven hil and darkshire without any horde seeing you.
Yeah, I will admit it is kinda silly that the portal back to Oribos is placed where it is fro two reasons.
One, for the PvP grievance listed here.
Two, if you are at 5 stacks of eye of the Jailer you still have to leave the safety of Ve’nari’s area to access the portal which can be painful.
I highly doubt they can move the portal stone at this point though because of its placement in the cutscene and intro scenario, but perhaps it will eventually be destroyed and a new one will be set up in the safe area. Who knows.

If I am doing important quests I want to get done with quickly then I turn WM off and do them. Then I go back to Org and turn it back on. If you keep getting ganked while trying to do something then it is your own problem
