No I love classic because I started playing the game in vanilla. and retail over the years the game has gone down hill so much that it’s not recognizable any more. I don’t play classic for the raiding I play the game for Community and the lvling and pvp and so much more. That’s why 3 times the people play classic over retail you must be a wod baby.
But Mechagon was a cute zone ;-;
If this game didn’t have a lot of toys/mounts/pets, etc to collect then I would imagine a lot of people wouldn’t enjoy it as much honestly. It’s an MMO afterall. It’s supposed to have A TON of small things to do, even if you don’t do them yourselves. Don’t like a new update? Go farm mounts. Upset about your class changes? Go farm some reputation and get exclusive stuff. Angry about Blizzard? Go collect some adorable pets while you rage.
But I like World Quests, Reputations, Zones, Menus, Mini-Games, and Toys.
I would rather vomit acid all over my brand-new tennis shoes than have housing added to WoW. For me, WoW isn’t a game of “play house”, it’s a game of “go kill things and take their stuff”.
Aside of housing, it sounds like there’s a real simple solution here: you go back to your Classic and stay outta my Retail, I’ll stay in my Retail and not go to your Classic. Because I don’t think you’re gonna see Classic+ or Warcraft 4.
I mean same, but there’s just not enough market interest to justify making it. The esports scene has moved on to Twitch and arena-style games because they’re more fun to watch. There’s just no profit in RTS games any more.
I’d have to disagree with that considering the hype surrounding Age of Empires 3 releasing recently and Age of Empires 4 in development.
Also people were extremely hyped about Warcraft 3: Reforged.
Though that does bring up whether I’d actually trust Blizzard to release a Warcraft 4…
No one cares about socializing in this game or classic anymore, both have gone completely the way of item level simulator.
Then just shut up on GD and go play classic - problem solved !!
