Stoopzz has quit WoW

Please, allow me… https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/c/pvp/20

They do but it does kinda suck to be honest.

i’m not sure how you managed to come to that conclusion.
you must have strained yourself stretching that far.

i’ve heard of Coca Cola.

…but if i hear that someone has stopped supporting the company, it has zero impact on me… or the vast majority of their customer base.

Nobully- I love how you are able to slice through the distraction and not get pulled into other people bad argument framing.

Stoopzz is a competitive pvper, that’s probably why you haven’t heard of him in 16 years.
Just like how as a mainly competitive pvper for 15 years, I have no idea who many pve streamers are, just because I don’t know them doesn’t mean they don’t have an impact on the game.

I am still completely confused by this. I almost dread bringing it up again, though… but, if we’re sitting on the worst expansion to date, where many pro PVPers consider to be the worst PVP season(s) to date - what kind of ‘‘impact’’ does Stoopz really have?

Answer: He has no impact on the game, at all. He has no impact on Ion’s decision making… at all. I am willing to bet that if he truly had any impact on the game, at all - he wouldn’t be quitting the game.

Sorry, Stoopz fans. I do like some of his ideas. I’m just not convinced of his ‘‘impact.’’

I mean he’s probably one of the voices that helped get pvp vendors back, but your right, players voices don’t matter much to blizzard. That’s why games trash

This is what the highest level of copium looks like everyone. Put it directly into the veins.

The thing about Stoopz quitting is all the content creators who were outspoken for better changes are leaving, Preach was the voice of the mythic raiders content creator wise and Stoopz was well and truly the loudest for PvPers, even if you didn’t know him.

He was a huge driving force in getting pvp itemisation the way it was in 9.0, which was considered one of the best systems they’ve done since WOD.

This mass exodus of content creators is awful for the game, the MMORPG gaming sphere has never had this much quality competition in the form of New World, FFXIV and AoC (Soon) while both the quality of the WoW product, the lawsuit and the general status of the company have been so poor.

It’s the perfect storm and people are getting off this wild ride.

All good, Hazel will bring more players into the game

:eyes:

I know you probably jest, but I love Hazelnutty. That said, she was distraught over covering the lawsuit content. I think she is a solid watch this space over the next few weeks.

Hollow statements only go so far.

Oh, I like Hazel for her pet battle videos, but that only brings so much to the table.

Well said!

You have to accept that if you want to PWN IN ARENA you have to spend thousands of dollars on tokens to buy boosts.

I hear and understand what you say 100%. Maybe I need to watch him again. It’s been years since I have. I never doubted his knowledge or skills. I mighta been pms’ing last time I watched him or something because he said something that rubbed me the wrong way and was just like :woman_shrugging:t3: But, we all have those moments. Idk. I just always loved supatease and pika the most for pvp. But, I agree what what you’re saying. It doesn’t matter what anyone says at this point. This company does not listen and look what’s happening.

up until about Legion, i pvpd fairly regularly.
took my mage through to Justicar, got some rated titles.

i haven’t heard of him, because i play the game… instead of watching other people play it.

This is what most companies issue.

I have no idea who this is.

I’d argue particularly in the case of Among Us that streamers were the primary driving force in that game becoming popular. Same with Valheim.

People didn’t suddenly just discover those games on their own for the most part, and those that did saw the popularity that streamers gave them bring them to the forefront in other places, like steam.

It’s a little different with games like WoW and FFXIV, and while streamers known for playing WoW playing FFXIV definitely helped increase the population in FFXIV, FFXIV is a game that has stood on it’s own for quite a long time.

Would you be willing to link your source on this?

I think that, at this point, Blizzard won’t do it out of spite.
All Blizzard’s other games have solo queue except diablo, and D4 will probably have soloqueue.
They won’t do it for WoW because people asked for it too much lol.
