AV was a mistake
large scale fights were a mistake
ashran was a mistake
epic battlegrounds are a mistake.
the engine just cant support it well.
shouldve saved these efforts for wow2 on an engine that can actually take 80 players fighting in one spot.
even with the recent multicore patch, same issue, just slightly better.
incredible.
must be fulfilling to try and crap on everything.
tell me do you have time to even wipe?

everything of massive scale that the engine canât handle very well, yes.
thatâs far from everything in the game homie
do i need to look at your post history to see if im right that you are doing it or what man?
you can stalk me if you want, i tell my opinions how they are
just today i made a point that it feels smooth to me in general in a post where ppl complain about lag felt like a positive note to me anyways
tbf itâs not the bightest days for wow, so it might be more negative than positive all in all
you do crap on a few things it seems but bleh i must be confusing you with another DH .
carry on.

AV was one of the best things about the game - and it was handled just fine.

With all of that acknowledged (your opinion that is), early AV was awesome.
I would prefer to know what version of AV it will be prior to making my choice if to resub or not.

if there is absolutely no news at all, then we can assume its 1.12 like everything else
Nicho:
Here is a list just so people donât have to research.
EVERY CHANGE FROM 1.5>TBC
Each team will now gain additional bonus honor if their towers are not destroyed by the end of the map. The more towers that remained intact, the more honor received.
If you manage to keep your factionâs Captain alive for the duration of a battle, you will be granted extra points upon victory.
Several Alterac Valley vendor items are now bind on acquire.
The respawn time for tower guards (assuming the tower has not been destroyed) has been greatly increased.
[Korrak the Bloodrager] has gained immunities to many different spell and ability effects.
The minimum reputation needed to send a cavalry charge has been reduced to Honored.
Players of Revered or higher reputation may now call offensive air strikes if they have managed to rescue their respective Wing Commanders.
Alterac Valleyâs guard spawn is now controlled via a more intuitive mechanism. Please check the Officer Supply vendors for your faction to read up on the changes.
Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented the Alliance team from receiving honor for destroying towers.
Fixed a bug that was not awarding Horde credit for owning a mine at the end of a game.
Each Battleground has an individual turn-in quest associated with its related victory/loss condition. Upon completion of a Battleground, the winning side will be awarded three Marks of Honor while the losing side will be awarded one Mark of Honor.
NPC difficulty has been scaled down. All NPCs have had their power reduced by 15-30%.
Korrak the Bloodrager and his band of trolls have packed up their bags and left Alterac Valley for greener pastures.
Most of the NPC guard units have been removed.
Creatures that remain in Alterac Valley have had their hit points reduced.
Obviously some a bigger than others.
Worth a reread to all who feel making changes to AV to revert it back is too much work.

Sure I would also like to know every detailed aspect of the xpac before itâs released, we donât always get what we want though. Being that BGs are in wave 2, I see no real reason why Blizzard will tell us anything about BGs until theyâre about to be released.
The reason I want to know before I sub again isnât really a valid one because again, BGs are going to be post launch.
We do, whatever was in current 1.12 lol. Not rocket science. You guys need to stop grasping at straws, to many expecting/wanting a previous version.

In this list, these are the only changes that would need to be reverted:
The respawn time for tower guards (assuming the tower has not been destroyed) has been greatly increased.
If this is too much work, then Blizzard is truly beyond hope.

They made all of those AV changes in patches over a series of months. If they cannot revert to the earlier version between when they announced classic and when BGs open in classic they truly are inept and should fold.
Want my money? Earn it.
