The decision makers you’re talking about are the very people whose decisions turned retail into the sad diseased thing it is now. Who already ignored a plethora of well written posts by a large number of people telling them in advance that X was going to take the game in a bad direction, when the bad decisions were announced or first implemented. Which al ultimately lead to the game hemorrhaging subs, beginning during WotLK, then ramping up in subsequent expansions.
Don’t try to understand them. Strongly suggest they are verboten from having anything to do with Classic at all.
