Still locked out from purchasing WoW tokens

I have been locked out from purchasing WoW tokens in the AH due to my not having paid $$ for game time for a while.

Today I purchased 2 months game time, Bliz took my $32.46 (with taxes), but I’m still locked out from purchasing the tokens in the AH.

How long do I have to wait to be able to purchase them again? Please help!! I did put in a ticket, but it may be a while before I hear anything, so I came here.

I believe the full term of one month purchased needs to expire first.

It won’t expire until June 2026.

I was previously paid thru April 2026. I put in a ticket and the person who responded told me that when I paid real $$, I would have the restriction removed. If that is NOT the case, I want a refund for the 2 months I just paid for. I don’t want to wait that long to be able to use the AH for tokens. That’s all I do with the gold that I make in game…

I know you have been waiting some time for an answer, and I thank you for your patience, even though we have been so busy I really appreciate you hanging on for me, time to get to the bottom of this for you!

I understand that you have been able to play free to play for a considerable amount of time and while I understand this is inconvenient, our new change is designed to prevent exploitation within the token system,

So as long as there is just one real money purchase of game time, you will have no further issues.

This appears to be correct information. You have to have used at least 30 days first.

To be clear… have to use at least 30 days first meaning the first available 30 days after purchase or use the existing paid time with tokens and THEN use the 30 days that was purchased with $$?

One more question. If I add a sub to my free account for 1 month, will that count? I know it would be a month’s wait, but it would be THAT month, not a 2 year wait month, right?

When you add time to your account, it goes on the end. So in your case, it won’t use the paid time until 2026.

A sub to your second account would begin consuming it immediately, and will reactivate token purchases when one month is done.
