Still Confused About The Blue Dot Attached To A Post

I know that when it appears and disappears that indicates a post read, right?

What about all the posts that come after, which don’t have a blue dot attached - does that also count toward posts read? Or is that just part of the orginal (and counted) post?

I ask, because some of y’all write novels inbetween the original post and the next one. And that isn’t meant as a put - down, just that it takes longer than normal to explain some things, Hell, if anyone knows about longer than normal postings, it’s moi! :+1::sunglasses::rofl:

Also, I know a little* about the counting of threads as opposed to the counting of posts, so that isn’t my problem - just want to make sure all of them get counted, which come after the blue dot, if there is no blue dot.

now im confused and curious as well.

The blue dot means the post hasn’t been read yet. When it disappears, that indicates that it counts as having been read.

Understood. I just wanted to know if the post after the one with the blue dot counts as a read post if it doesn’t have a blue dot next to it.

If the dot has disappeared, then that post is considered read
